Hôtel de Bordeaux (波尔多酒店)

-Room smelt of wet mould -no toilet seat at all -carpet well worn out. -power plug on wall half falling off. -Staff gave us two keys to pick our room and one had someone sleeping in it. So clearly they have a poor system. -Would not recommend this place to my worst enermy

Fabulous place! The staff couldn't be better; and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He is in the process of doing the place up; and we had the privilege of staying in one of the newly decorated rooms. It was fresh and so clean; and seemed much bigger than the pictures on the web. The bathroom was fantastic; full bath with shower and tiled from top to bottom. The bed was extremely comfortable; and we are picky about our beds! Although we never used it, there is access to a computer, full wi-f; a phone in the room, a small fridge and flat screen tv. The location is central to all forms of transport and about 15 minute walk from Montmartre. Loads of places to eat and drink nearby, some just outside the front door. But it was the owners enthusiasm and the friendly, helpful staff that made the place; and our holiday. Many thanks to Yaz and his crew!!

It was very worth it's money...we needed a stay for just one night and it was very cheap compared to others...it was clean...very friendly and helpful staff...quite central as well. Worth it!

It was well placed near the Gare De Nord which meant getting to the sights was easy. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

The room got very hot at night. Pillow on the bed was very flat.

The staff is very friendly and problems are solved swiftly. The room was clean, and the location is good... Breakfast is basic but served until 10am.

The hotel is old and not very well maintained. The lift/elevator is old and very small. The first room I stayed in (room 31) was horrible, did not even have a wardrobe, and the toilet seat was broken. I complained and they did move me to a nicer room...

Friendly staff. Many restaurants in the near. Less than 1 km to Gare du Nord. Little local traffic.

Most of the staff were very very friendly and helpful. So there is a nice atmosphere in the hotel. The free breakfast was very good and the location is excellent. Free wifi had a very good connection.

The room was a little basic and there was dust - so it could have been a little cleaner.

A small boutique hotel very close to Gare d l'est (where Metro station is) and Gare d'Nord stations which is the main station with link to country trains to visit other parts of France. The staff are extremely helpful specially Yaze who is the owner of the hotel. My stay there was very comfortable as it was a service with a smile always. Very neat and clean with room made up everyday and free breakfast. The owner is also very helpful with directions and helped me to make phone calls for tour booking conformations etc. I would recommend anyone to stay there whilst in Paris. Rates are very affordable, I stayed there 12days for 660Euros.

I was in Paris for 3 days with a friend. The hotel is located in a good area, close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est(15 mins walking) with very good connections to all Paris attractions in train, metro or bus; also direct connection to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Is not a very posh neighborhood, but we had no problems when walking on the streets even at night, as we were 2 young girls. We choose to explore the city walking, and many attractions are at half an hour away from the hotel (Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Louvre, Centre Pompidou). The staff was very friendly. We received free breakfast and they offer to print our plane tickets as we checked in online. Good choice if you're on a budget trip!

The furniture is quite old (although the bed was big and comfi enough) and some redecoration work would be nice.

If you don't want to spend too much money on hotel, you want a place to sleep. It's great, no fancy hotel but for the money it is worth it. Close to Gare de l'Est, and one block away from subway. will recommend it

The English speaking staff was great and the location is the reason I picked this hotel. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. There is value for the money. It's a quick walk from Gare du Nord where I arrived from London via the Eurostar. The Metro is only five minutes away and the neighborhood is real Paris and not touristy filled with fat Americans from Texas.

I wish there was more outlets to charge up my phone and laptop.

The room - was so small- that I was able to have claustrophobia... The bathroom was very small - that even I was not able to fully open door to the shower - and good that I am slim otherwise I will not able to get there

Great friendly staff, room was clean, had all the basics plus free internet, great price. The area seemed very safe even at one in the morning. It is also close to a large metro/train station.

The fack that it was only 300m from train station. Nothing else.

Everything else, dirty, mouse ridden, breakfast was terrible, wifi kept dropping out, light didn't work. Expensive for what it was.

Bit noisy, dustman did their usual of coming around a 5am, so the double glazing wasn't up to scratch. Bed only 4 foot 6 inches

Very friendly staff, spacious bedroom and bathroom, good Wifi reception throughout the hotel, Continental breakfast served in renovated basement cellar ... very unusual. Good value for money!

The satellite tv in the room had only French-language channels ... not even cnn!

Brilliant staff. When I was still amazing if the room really go with breakfast, "welcome to Paris", the reciption said. Late night I was requested hot water, the guy at the desk just rush to kitchen and boil me a bottle of it, 5-star service, perfectly matches Paris sunshine in late summer. Brilliant location, close enough to the train station but avoided the worse area, night in 10e looks a little bit unsafe, but just mind your business and it's actually okay and could be a fresh experience. Room's great too, tidy with good windows, full wifi, defo will visit again if I may!

it's a very good hotel for a short stay in Paris. It's clean, not expensieveand good situated. And the main thing - the staff (especially the manager) is very friendly, helpful and cordial.
