Hôtel De Buci  

The only positive aspect of the hotel is it's excellent location.

We had a suite with a separate sitting area and there was step between them which we kept tripping on all the time. Our windows looked onto ugly and filty water pipes. The furniture was too large for the rooms which made circulation difficult. The lighting was awful, We couldn't see anything! The full-length mirror was inside a closet door which opened at an angle making it impossible to use. Everytime we showered, no matter how careful we were, the bathroom got soaked.

The location and service was exellent.

The only drawback - it was impossible to sleep with open windows, cause the room overlooked a very noisy corner. So we had to use air conditioning every night. But this was the only inconvenience.

I liked this hotel, well situated in the neighborhood, which wasn't too noisy. The room was very pretty and the staff were very welcoming.

Our only problem is they were doing some repairs and the lobby was so noisy with drilling that we couldn't sit in it.

[note--your list of descriptive words is clearly not tailored to the de Buci hotel "beachseaside or golfsports"! Better to have a list related to the property you are asking about, if you want this to be taken seriously.]

There are two of us. Two small suitcases--and only one luggage rack.

The location right in the heart of Saint Germain was incredible! Our 3-person room suite was just as incredible: very pretty, private and comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with directions, suggestions and arranging transportation as necessary. The lobby provided a nice and relaxing atmosphere, and breakfast was delicious! We plan to stay here again the next time we're in Paris.

The staff was wonderful. They did everything they could to make us feel so special. We arrived and there were sweet biscuits and a split of champagne in our room with a note wishing us a great stay. We felt like our room was wonderfully cozy (Le Contemporaire) and later we were moved to a suite on the top floor. It was spectacular. The neighborhood is wonderful. Our favorite neighborhood in Paris....lots of great cafes, boutiques and shops. We had a fantastic time and would love to go back some day. We would recommend this hotel highly for anyone.

Fantastic location only 5 min walk from rer station so easy access to cdg and ory airports. Very chic hotel, stylish decor and comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Room a bit small but probably standard size for city centre (like nyc). Nice staff, only comment would be they seem short staffed at night and can't leave reception so room service was a challenge.

Great location in the latin quarter. Hugely comfortable bed. Nicely appointed bathroom.

Pretty small hotel in the city but wonderful staff and decor. However, much was expected of a four star hotel. Will do good to have more english speaking staff around especially for the concierge services.

We got a verge small room, perhaps the smallest of all the rooms. We were quite shocked about it but the disappointment got dwindled down over our stay in part to it's proximity to shopping and atttractions.

A nice practical hotel in the part of Paris we wished to be.

This was a great location in the Latin quarter, just a block from Saint Germain. There are dozens of cafes and boutique stores all around the hotel. Although the Metro is nearby, we walked everywhere from the hotel. Their rates were a little pricey but for atmosphere, proximity to food and shopping and a great introduction to Paris (our 1st visit) it worked out perfectly. Rue de Buci was an ideal street to be on. We'd go back again - no doubts.
