Central location, room at the back was quiet away from street noise. Free WiFi very welcome. Breakfast was overpriced at 8 euros. |

Hotel de France was in a good location in a really beautiful old part town and staff were quite nice. The noise from the Irish bar at night was relentless and could even be heard until at least 1.00am despite the double glazed windows. |

For me this hotel (I have stayed there before) is the perfect location for experiencing Aix. You are right in the centre of the action and with public parking Rotunde now close, available and safe it is an even better place to stay. It is now my only choice for staying in Aix whether on business or relaxing. It can be a bit noisy but if you intend to be enjoying this fantastic vibrant city to the full you should not be in your room too long or so tired you sleep through any outside noise. |

Very central. Easy check in. Breakfast should be included for the price. But is nicer to go out as it is directly in center |

all the doors inside room are not good, for example, you can not close the bathroom door, so you take your shower with door always open, I have never like this. also when you first time in the hotel , no one gives you any information about the hotel policy, internet, breakfast. so you have to ask |

The staff were extremely helpful. The location is in the centre of Aix-en-Provence, and the hotel is convenient for all the restaurants etc. Wireless Internet is advertised as available in the rooms free of extra charge. It was not available during my stay, although it was available during other stays. |

Excellent location (if a little difficult to find) and if you want a genuine Provencal experience (in other words if you hate Hilton style country anonymous hotels) this is a great choice. Donlt be put off by lack of parking as there is loads of new parking (follow signs to Rotunda parking) within an easy 3 minutes walk of the hotel. It is very noisy outside all day and all night but well worth it for the setting and for being the heart of what is happening. Bring ear plugs and enjoy it. |

At the heart of the city therefore great location. Good hotel for the price we paid. Double glazing so you don't hear a sound on the street which is hard to find in central hotels |
