Location was great, st on metro from Gar du Nord then v short walk. All the main sights are easy to reach from tube. Tube stop v close. Can walk to resaurants and bars in the evening. Staff were really friendly. Will stay here again.
Could be a little noisy as thin walls but didn't actually bother me. Also bathrooms on alternate floors but again no wait so no issue.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good location
the staffs are very helpful. Though the sharing bathroom is really small but quite clean.
the location seems to be a little terrifying at night.
The hotel had the facilities that we need for this kind of trip... Beds: confortable Bathroom: small, but fair for me and my partners. Has drying hair too! Clean!! They clean the room all the days Staff: nice, but last day They call us a taxi that was very expensive, more expensive that the others that we paid... Wi-fi: ok
The neighborhood is unsafe, we felt when we walk early or late to raje the metro, very dangerous, also the metro in that zone...
- good reception - next to carrefour market - next to metro 150 m - next to sacre cure 1 km - good cleaning - wifi poor but free
- lot of black people...the poor ones - no nice bars in the aria, only bad fast food - no nice shops
-location -friendly staff -very close to a supermarket
-no lift -the toilet and shower at in different floor and extremely tight space.
Although I hesitated to give a 'good' opinion of the location, in relation to the Metro and the ease of using same, was necessary. The area is not a desired tourist spot; it was more an experience.Eating in this area wasn't an option for me, but the Metro made it possible to explore better options in this regard.
First impressions of the area were a culture shock! forget the romantic notions suggested by history, movies, etc. Looked better the next day, but spent very little time in the area.
Great staff, very helpful guys. Help with the luggage (no elevator). Great location to start trip to Monmartre.
We were staying for 3 nights. On the last night found cockroaches :(
The first impression from the street is not overwhelming, then you climb the stairs and a very friendly receptions is waiting for you. Smooth check-in, and he sorted a room for my friend for the next few days, since he didn't have accommodation booked. Beds look quite average at first sight, but then they are comfortable. Also the shower is very good. Located close to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur, 200 m from the metro station. Not central, but well-connected.
Located on a busy road, the front rooms can be quite noisy. Rooms are a bit small and basic, but they do the job.
clean, very polite staff
location, not recommendet for single travelers
Great staff, wifi and location
Shower and toilets cramped and far away from each other
Staffs were friendly. Hotel was close to underground station. There were a few shops and restaurants nearby.
The hotel is close to main road so quite noisy at night. Facility was quite old and tiny.
Nothing end of
Everything about the place, ended up showering in the sink and also didn't sleep due to the mess up with the rooms, two of us ended up staying in a single bed. Didn't go toilet as was scared to catch something. Would not recommend unless you are filming a porn movie. And even then I'd think twice. Never again will I visit
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was small and basic but it had everything I needed. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in but it was fine. The location is great - very close to the metro and only a 5-10 minute walk from the Sacre Coeur and Monmartre. Some people have written in their reviews that they found the hotel noisy. I didn't hear any road noise (although my room didn't overlook the road) but you coudl hear people walkign aroudn in the corridor. I didn't find this to be a major problem however. Soem people have also written that they felt unsafe in the are around the hotel. I am a woman who was there on my own and found the area to be fine, even when comign back to the hotel quite late. It is not the most chi-chi area of Paris but the hotel is on a relatively busy road and there were always people around, which to me felt a lot safer than coming back late to a deserted back street. the hotel was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it.
The wifi isn't the most reliable and there isn't a lift but apart from that I was happy. I perhaps woudln't book this hotel for my honeymoon but if you're looking for somewhere cheap, cheerful and well located it's great!
Hotel for this prize is on really high qualitty and on great location.
It's been my girlfriend birthsday, I have been asking personel to prepare the room, but after they forgot about it. Anyway I will recomend that hotel.
It's low in price with good service from front desk.
The location is not good.
The bed sheets were clean. The floor was freshly mopped. 20min walk to Montmartre and Eurostar
Bathroom was flithy and very constantly occupied Rooms were hot with no air conditioning Opening window was very noisy The neighbour wasn't great Booked early check in and was told it was impossible
- The staff was amazing, very helpful and quick to respond if something was needed, kind and smiling. - The facility is very clean and cozy, there are flat screens and little fridges in the rooms witch I looove and a supermarket right across the street. - Great location for a good price, the hotel is on the East edge of my fav area in Paris, Montmartre, so it only takes a few minutes to walk to Sacré-Coeur. I will for sure stay here next time I'm in Paris!
Nothing really, loved it, but I leave few helpful notes here: - Some might think the neighborhood is a bit shady late in the evening, I didn't feel unsafe and walked around late in the evening with my sons, 13 and 16 years old. - For people with heavy luggage, there is no elevator so it's probably wise to book a room on the lower floors but I'm sure the nice staff would help carrying things up. - The street can be noisy during the day so if people like to chill in their rooms at daytime with the windows open you might consider getting a room not facing the main street.
Staff really good
The hotel has everything I need. It's on Metro line 4, and the area is a fun one. The bedside lighting was excellent. The room has a fridge, which I appreciate as I am dieting and prefer to eat a salad in my room than a three-course dinner. It was clean and quiet. The WiFi was top-notch.
The place is a bit scruffy. cracked tiles, battered wardrobe door, battered paint etc. It's insalubrious. It is also in a street that the nervous traveller may find a bit scary. It isn't scary, but it may appear so.
Quiet (when in our room) Amazing value for money Room was cleaned and tidied every day 30 second walk to a metro station Opposite to a supermarket (sells some english food) Staff - friendly and helpful Bed - comfortable E An excellent stay for what we wanted!!!!
The LOCATION - didn't feel safe walking down the streets The steep stairs within the hotel - had a poor knee and had to carry suitcases up 3 flights of stairs Barely anyone spoke english near the hotel so it was difficult to find anything we wanted.
Short trip from C. de Gaulle airport(RER B to Gare du Nord, then metro line 4 to Chateau Rouge or Marcadet Poissonier, altogether some 30mins). Don't be intimidated by the eccentric types on the streets, it is Montmartre after all. Receptionists and housekeepers were friendly and solicitous.
friendly staff, wifi in rooms, close to metro.
Neighborhood not so good. Last minute option for a relatively cheap accommodation in Paris.
- very helpful and nice staff - the room and bathroom all clean
- the location - felt not so safe, although we haven't experienced any unpleasant encounters
