Good location and reasonably helpful staff I am profoundly disappointed with the hotel Our first room was dirty and so small we had to sidle down the side of our bed. The shower was so small I could not fit in and the toilet space was so small I could not use it. On seeing the room my wife burst into tears she was so upset and disappointed. The reality in no way reflected the publicity. We were persuaded not to formally complain with the promise of a larger room next day. This was roomier but dull and boring with cracks in the walls. Never again!

Traveling with my adult son...we both loved the location. The room was very small. Even small by Paris standards I'm told, but the bathroom was good size with tub. We literally had 2 twin beds with 1-1/2 to 2 ft. Around and between them. It may be just too small for some but for us it worked out pefectly. The room was very clean (my #1 requirement) w/daily maid sevice. We had a small balcony looking out over the street which was fun for watching Paris life. It's on a fairly busy street but surprisingly our balcony doors blocked most of the noise at night. Very near the metro...a darling market a few doors down and lots of places to eat nearby. The staff was fine and spoke english well enough. All in all...this hotel is definitely not fancy but very clean and in a great location. Our only problem with the hotel was with the wifi. You are given a code to connect but they neglect to tell you can only have one device signed on per room. That meant you could not have 2 phones or a phone and a laptop on at the same time. The biggest problem there is that you could not sign off one device and sign on another...once you signed on a device, that was the only thing you could use until the next day. When out of the country it just seems very important to give people very reliable access to you...ie: phone, messaging, email. Also, for a buisness traveler this may present some issues. It turned out to be inconveniant...but we made it work.

Location was great and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was great however the staff were quite indifferent and we did not feel welcome upon arrival. It was basically a here's your key, sign this and bugger off!! It would also be nice to have tea and coffee in the room, but other than that we had a Pleasant stay.

For the price, I don't think there could be a better choice. The location is one block from bus and metro and so convenient. The staff was very helpful with transportation choices and decisions. The neighborhood has a first class bakery and a wonderful shopping street, closed to traffic. Everything is near. The room was cleaned thoroughly each day. The room was very tiny (which I knew from reviews). It was dark and a little depressing as the only window looked out on an opposing window 4 feet away. Because I was a solo traveler, it was okay. Two suitcases would not have fit.

Superb location, very clean and 2 of the 3 reception staff were lovely. Rue mouffetard located just around the corner turned out to be our favourite spot in Paris in terms of eateries and the general vibe. Poor ironing facilities.

This small hotel is in an ideal location close to the Metro and buses and to cafe's and bistros frequented by the locals, plus a fantastic market and restaurants.

Good location and easy access to underground. Open 24/24. Free wifi Room was clean but not really appealing. Impossible to open the window to get some fresh air due to bad cooking smell outside. Woken up at 6:30am by the loudy television of the room next to mine. 2-3 strong hits on the wall made my neighbour understand but it was too late... Breakfast was ok (good croissant and bread) but not enough.

We stayed in this hotel in march 2012.The rooms are really small with bath, enough for vacation. in the evening and spend the night. There is no English channels, only Franch. The elavator is for one person only. This is edge of the Latin Quarter, but metro station is just nerr the hotel(station Censier Dauberton). There is few restaurant in the street, and realy good pizzeria in front of hotel, maybe the best pizza I ever eat. The supermarket Franprix is in the same street, for a block away, and works till 9 pm. The quartier is very quiet, and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay again.

A very friendly and helpful staff helped greatly. Very close to Metro station. My room was at the front and got morning sunshine. Very adjacent to the Rue Mouffetard, which is (a) a must-see street, and (b) contains excellent and highly competitively priced restaurants. I would go back and yet I haven't stayed in a 2* hotel since I was a student!

Very good staff give me lots of help. You could easily got how to travel in Paris. Clean and comfortable. Good location only two minutes away from the Metro exit. Also bus No.27 Is very close...We all enjoy the hotel much and will live again this year for another trip... Small rooms as most France hotels.

Reasonably clean, good location, quick metro ride to center or long walk. 8 Euro cab ride home from Bastille area at 3 in the morning, walked it the second night, took about 45 mins. Neighborhood is very nice, long street of restaurants near by which aren't super expensive for Paris. Accomodation is very basic, no english language tv channels. Seemed like an ok price for central paris in a nice area. Didn't try the free breakfast. Staff friendly

I liked this hotel a lot. It is close to the Censier Daubenton metro station, minutes away from Rue Mouffletard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was smallish but impressively clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. The elevator worked well. Didn't try the breakfast. I got a comfort twin room for 69 euros a night. Was able to check in at 13h even though the official check-in time was 15h. I was very happy with everything. Also close to many restaurants. Try the Pizza Cesar on Boulevard Saint Michel for real Italian pizzas. The bed was a bit lumpy but I slept well nevertheless. WiFi was unattainable in my room on the 4th floor so I had to use it in the lobby.

The staff was great, the room was very clean the location was perfect, nearby the bu and the metro and the street Mouffetard was excellent The room was too small, and although for a two star hotel it was really really good, the price was for me too big comparing the hotel to hotels of other countries.

This is over-priced for a two stars hotel, but also cleaner and a little more sophisticated. Location is the main reason to stay here: Rue Mouffetard is just around the corner and it's like stepping on the world of Amélie.

Nothing except it's location! The worst stay ever!! I had to checkout the second day and move to another hotel... Very bad customer service, hotel staff are rude. Rooms are very small and you can hear everything happening in the other rooms around you! They also tried to add extra charges that was not mentioned during the booking... I will never visit this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone unless he is searching for headache!!
