Location is excellent - metro 1 block away. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, and markets. Laundry across the street. I travelled with my 18 year old daughter and we found this area safe for women. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions, and spoke English. I would stay in this hotel again.

Good location and reasonably helpful staff I am profoundly disappointed with the hotel Our first room was dirty and so small we had to sidle down the side of our bed. The shower was so small I could not fit in and the toilet space was so small I could not use it. On seeing the room my wife burst into tears she was so upset and disappointed. The reality in no way reflected the publicity. We were persuaded not to formally complain with the promise of a larger room next day. This was roomier but dull and boring with cracks in the walls. Never again!

location, location, location .... close to metro station Censier Daubenton which is 2 minutes walking at this is all that you need to reach quickly all touristic attractions. extremely small room, but when you're in Paris for visiting all day long it does not matter too much.

perfect location behind the lovely Rue Mouffetard with plenty restaurants. Easy walking to Saint Germain, Notre Dame and only one hour walk from the Eiffel Tour. The beds are very short and narrow.

The location was the best thing about the hotel. It was close to Rue Mouffetard and Rue Pot au Fer where there were loads of restaurants. It was within easy walking distance of places like the Pantheon, Notre Dame and the Museum of the Middle Ages. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room and the bathroom were very small and there wasn't much room to store clothes and suitcases. I would definitely not call it a superior room! The breakfast was pretty basic even for a continental one and not really worth the money. I'd suggest going out elsewhere for breakfast.

We arrived in Paris and were greeted at the hotel by Rose, who was very lovely and helpful. We enjoyed the location in the Latin Quarter very much; the hotel is convenient and surrounded by markets, parks and restaurants. The metro is right on the corner, which we used daily to tour the city. The room is small, yet clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable.

nice and clean place - great value for money; location is perfect - 20 min walk from the city centre, nice local atmosphere - rue mouffetard and its market and cafes are 1 min away, no tourist traps around, next to a metro line with very good connections (most attraction and city parts are 15 min and 1 change away)

A very friendly and helpful staff helped greatly. Very close to Metro station. My room was at the front and got morning sunshine. Very adjacent to the Rue Mouffetard, which is (a) a must-see street, and (b) contains excellent and highly competitively priced restaurants. I would go back and yet I haven't stayed in a 2* hotel since I was a student!

Location is wonderful, very close to line 7 metro station in Paris. If you do not care too much luxury of room it will be enough for you. I really suggest this hotel for young couples. Their room is a bit small but it's enough for young couples.

Great location by place monge and rue mouffetard. Great setting with a nice balcony showing the goings on of rue monge. Clean and comfortable, one of the better 2 star hotels I have stayed in. The doorman was helpful whenever info was required & was even able to provide a bottle opener when needed

Reasonably clean, good location, quick metro ride to center or long walk. 8 Euro cab ride home from Bastille area at 3 in the morning, walked it the second night, took about 45 mins. Neighborhood is very nice, long street of restaurants near by which aren't super expensive for Paris. Accomodation is very basic, no english language tv channels. Seemed like an ok price for central paris in a nice area. Didn't try the free breakfast. Staff friendly

I liked this hotel a lot. It is close to the Censier Daubenton metro station, minutes away from Rue Mouffletard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was smallish but impressively clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. The elevator worked well. Didn't try the breakfast. I got a comfort twin room for 69 euros a night. Was able to check in at 13h even though the official check-in time was 15h. I was very happy with everything. Also close to many restaurants. Try the Pizza Cesar on Boulevard Saint Michel for real Italian pizzas. The bed was a bit lumpy but I slept well nevertheless. WiFi was unattainable in my room on the 4th floor so I had to use it in the lobby.
