the staff were really friendly, especially the breakfast staff. lovely view from balcony,
the bed was propped up using batteries in a pack. it was meant to be a large room but was very small. the bathroom had mould and there was cables on view via the hairdryer and not sealed over.
Very friendly staff, everything was superclean, comfortable
In our room were "night-lights" that cannot be turned off, Wifi was only working with one device and had a limited validity that had to be renewed
The hotel location is quite central, there is a metro stop only a few metres away, there is a boulangerie across the road where you can get breakfast if you don't want to do it at the hotel.
location - easy access to city attractions, beautiful neighborhood, great for walking, Starbuck's, markets nearby. Very quaint.
nothing - loved it all
Would have preferred breakfast buffet where I could select. Choice was rather poor for the price of the hotel.
Wifi was fine, staff helpful and friendly. Airport shuttle convenient for us and not too expensive
Bottom of shower looked a little dirty. A fridge would have beeen nice
We liked everything, it was nice and cozy, very clean, very helpful staff...and the location was two steps from the metro station.
The cleaning lady was polite.
WiFi just doesn't work. You can't connect more than 1 device at the time and I wasn't able to connect my iPad into WiFi at all. This was really frustrating once the Hotel description says "Free WiFi". Well, not really. More like "Limited WiFi". TV has no remote control, which is quite frustrating if you want to change the channel I suppose. Bathroom size: 1x1 So small you can't dry yourself inside the bathroom. Watch out if you are a bit overweight as you won't fit in the shower cubicle or in the toilet. Breakfast is minimal (bread and butter). Better have breakfast out. Location is also not so good. It's quite a walk to get to the Latin center. Not so good for the price that they charge. I was expecting something a little bit better or at least with WiFi working properly.
location and price
room is too small
Location and staff are very nice, should be a very good place to stay but not in hot summer.
No air condition in the room, not a really good idea to stay in the hot summer.
We liked the neighbourhood which had a good range of local cafes and shops. We normally stay in the Marais but decided to get to know a new area. We liked the location which was not so busy or full of tourists but more down to earth.
The hotel is on a main street which meant that traffic noise kept us awake unless we kept the windows closed. However we could have turned on the air conditioning if it was too warm.
Dirty, smells, air conditioning didn't work.
Great hotel in an excellent location. It was just around the corner from the metro and plenty of bars and restaurants were nearby. The hotel room was not particularly big as is typical of hotel rooms in Paris however it was very clean and comfortable. One big plus was that we had a bath, something I have never had in a Paris in hotel before. Another was that there was a small lift. The staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions and arranged a taxi for us to Porte Maillot for our early morning flight . We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but the breakfast room looked nice and there was also a seating area at reception where people read or used their laptops. The Wi-Fi reception was strong in our room.
Comfortable bedroom Clean bedroom Cheap and close to subway, but far from the touristic center
The staff is extremely miss educated I realized that my iPad had been dropped by some cleaner only after I've got to Barcelona. It didn't stop working, but the screen corner where it was dropped broke and also the metal back was smashed. The elevator is really small and people use wooden stairs at night, what caused my fiance, which has a lighter dream, to wake up the whole night, since the walls are thick.
my first visit had a cute clean room with a big window overlooking the street. it had a (tiny) tub that was very clean.
i went back a second time and was given a horrible little room with a leaky shower, tile coming up off the floor, a window facing a wall, dirty bedspread with cigarette burn hole in it.
Location Help from the staff
Staff that really tried hard especially Albertine at breakfast, who seemed like she was thrilled to have us come to eat. Very good location. Good value
Well the lift was tiny and the plumbing a bit dodgy, but, honestly, if everything was upgraded the rooms would cost more, wouldn't they ?
Ha, the front desk guy, very helpfull, Srylanka budy.
location cleanliness silent room
breakfast is limited but ok with price clerk very formal
Very convenient if travelling by Gare du Lyon. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel provided me with a quiet room as per my request.
The room was small but this is standard for most mid-range Paris hotels.
Lovely quaint location. Very clean and nice furnishings. Extremely helpful and accommodating.
Location was quiet but close to cafés and restaurants. Also really close to metro
Like most Parisian tourist hotels the room and bathroom are tiny
The place hotel is located near metro station in secure area
Small room with no view
Rooms 54, 55 and 56 (French fifth floor) have little balconies that overlook Rue Monge. The door kept out street noise effectively. AC very efficient, has variable speed. Good bed. Bath well supplied. One block from colorful Rue Mouffetard with its lively shopping crowds. Good breakfast. Met three desk staff, all of whom went out of their way to help us and others. Nice reading lights by the both sides of the bed.
If you have been in Paris before, you expect the room to be small. I could stand in one place in the bathroom and stretch out to touch all four walls. And the elevator is tiny. C'est Paris!
The hotel was updated. It was close to the metro. The room had a fan. It was nicely painted and clean.
The room was super small and so was the shower. Thebfan I was given made rattling noise. No channels on tv in english.
