Location is fantastic. You can walk up to almost any famous position in the city. It is quite, safe. Metro line 7, is using this street, giving you possibility to be very mobile.
Hygiene should be better.
Location, close to eat street and subway. Easy walk to City centre. Accommodating staff.
11 sqm room and tiny lift however our days were not spent in the room and we could put up with that. The shower curtain was too long and should be either shortened or replaced.
Location is good, the staff spoke excellent English.
The toilet was blocked and even when it was fixed the smell was dreadful. Could not access the wifi at all, asked reception and he said they would be clearing everyone off it at 7pm and to try after that, but it still didn't work.
Very welcome staffs and helpful, introduce the sightseeing places around. Location is very good, feel very safty when staying in such area.
Only a thin sheet under the cover cause less quality of sleeping. Wi-fi siginal was poor sometimes.
The hotel is in a nice safe location. Close to a metro stop, and many restaurants. The room was bigger than I expected, mostly because I was warned that European rooms are generally smaller. The staff are very nice and helpful.
I have no complaints. I went to France knowing it would be different than the US. That is what makes traveling more interesting.
The room is quite neat and adorable even though is not so big.The elevator is really really tiny and just enough for two people and luggages! The location is convenient and the shops and restaurants are everywhere around the hotel! The staff is so kind and helpful!
1.-Location 2.-Staff 3. effort in solutions
1.-Elevator had problems & I had to move my baggages to 6th floor 2.- On the 6th floor you receive all the kitchen smell 3.-Cleaness was really por
Friendly helpful staff, excellent location, nice room, good breakfast.
Good location in Latin quarter near to metro station and RER mainline connection at Jardin de Luxemberg. Clean and with all the basics. Quite expensive for the quality standard but this is Paris. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast simple but good and not bad VFM
Smallish room, quite dim lighting (for me). Lift was ancient and in my view not trustworthy so I walked up five flights of stairs. Temperature control on shower a little temperamental. Some of the decor and facilities a little aged. But overall not to bad in terms of vfm for Paris which is a very expensive city.
good location, great restaurants near by
bit shabby, very basic,
Good wi-fi, good TV, good hairdryer (not one of those pathetic ones you find in a lot of hotels...) - and a great night's sleep in a quiet room. Don't expect luxury or choose it for your honeymoon - this is a 2-star hotel - but the room is clean and in the perfect location for a short stay in Paris. Close to metro, nice bars, boulangeries, supermarket and the wonderful Rue Mouffetard - and nicely located for a morning run along the Seine before breakfast!
I was in room 47 - and whoever put the shower curtain up has clearly never attempted to have a shower behind it.... Space is tight, which means it's impossible to shower without the curtain clinging to you - which is horrible! Fortunately, as an intrepid traveller, I had a roll of gaffer tape with me - stuck the curtain to the wall, and soaked the floor, but at least i was able to shower in comfort! Other than that, no complaints at all!
We enjoyed the short walk to notre dame and that the hotel was surrounded by a great many restaurants and cafés.
There wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
The staff were as helpful as they could be, given the various malfunctions that took place during my 6-day stay there, and universally pleasant. The surrounding area is interesting, and one that is not well-known to most foreign tourists.
The lift broke down regularly (my room was on the 3rd floor), the wi-fi was very erratic (fortunately, there was a Starbucks nearby), and the electronic door lock occasionally refused to accept my key card. The breakfast was 'basic', to say the least.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was quite comfortable, and the pillows. Great area - restaurants, cafes, cabs
The promised Wifi in my room wasn't available except once for a short period on the last night. Disappointed as I had planned to catch up on correspondence in the evenings. The broken chipboard panel over the toilet was a little unsightly and could harbour germs. The shower curtain was hanging by only a few of its rings which made it flap and stick to the body. The lift was not working for the first little while. Four flights is a long way up. The walls are VERY thin. :(
- excellent wifi - staff are nice and helpfull - location is ok - our room had a balcony which was nice.
- the hotel has a lot of maintenance issues: electricity went down for few hours, the elevator broke down on our third day and we had to go all the way up to the fifth floor by stairs. - room is very small. - the location is ok but not the best one. its near the metro station but the line that goes by there (number 7) is not a main line and we had to switch lines all the time.
Location. Very near to the Metro.
Small bathroom. And can hear noisy next doors
Location close to metro station
Staff very helpful in finding a more suitable room. Good breakfast, continental
Dark, stuffy, noisy room. Didn't sleep at all the first night due to someone's crying baby, noisy stairwell etc... When mentioned this, the staff kindly moved us to a room away from the stairwell. Soooo much better.
The staff were very efficient, cordial and totally helpful. Excellent location. Great choice of nearby restaurants. I upgraded my hotel to 3 stars* out of fear of trying another 2* in the area as there for 1 week on business.
The establishment merits only 1*, if that. Room too small; noisy guests; outdated and worn out appliances; dirty shower with hair in it and no water pressure; smelly elevator big enough for only 1 person.
Ok for a group of men or women but not couples. Easy to travel to from Orly airport.
Was overcharged 20 Euros when paying at end of stay. Rooms could do with freshening up. Small rooms.
Comfortable, clean, friendly, well kept hotel. Lovely part of paris, easy to access the centre, just a pleasant 20 minute walk away
Rooms small but thats normail in europe and wifi limited to just one connection per person, which is annoying if u have a phone and tablet or laptop
Excellent staff, greeted me with fresh OJ once he saw I was weary from travel. Outstanding classic euro hospitality/facility/breakfast. Location is great in terms of proximity. Elegant and reasonably-priced restaurant across the street.
Parking is offsite a few blocks. Sex shops and lots of shady characters on the streets between the parking and the hotel. Did not feel safe going between them, but maybe I'm just the nervous type....
location of hotel is good for a quiet stay Parking nearby, Metro nearby, friendly helpful staff.
price quality relationship maybe "normal" for Paris but is far below similar price offers outside the city
Didn't have the breakfast but loads of excellent bakeries around the place. Perfect location for the metro
Really thin walls
Location, free wifi, elevator, quiet room, clean room and bed.
