Staff was very helpful, location was great, hotel decor was quaint and enjoyable

Breakfast needed more staffing -- one person was running front office and taking care of entire breakfast room -- having said that meal was still fine, it just seemed a large task fro one person.

So close to Versailles Chateau, staff so helpful and kind, very comfortable, good breakfast.

Proximity to Versailles.

The 1st room smelled like a sewer in the bathroom. The 2nd room was fine. The kid at the front desk was unfamiliar with the city parking policies, which put us out on time and $. And cold hot dogs is not a breakfast food!

The perfect location - just few metres from the palace. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel serves good food, normal prices, very friendly staff. The room was very clean and not tiny, big bathroom in mirrors - really nice!

if the breakfast is included in the room price - this would be perfect.

Charming hotel with a wonderful location very close to the Palace of Versailles. Nice staff and great restaurant as well. Couldn't have been more pleased!

Parking on the street.

The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, the place has a nice "atmosphere". I'd go back there if I have to visit Versailles again.

Staff were very helpful, the location was great and the two rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. It was nice to have a bath in the bathroom. It was gorgeous except for two problems

Since you ask. The first bedroom had a bad smell and the toilet was extremely smelly. If it were not for the second bedroom, the fact that we were told that we had the last room when we booked on-line and that the rest of it was so nice, I would have been more proactive on arrival. The second problem was with the Wifi which was very unreliable. I think these 2 problems needs to be addressed.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the location was interesting.

It was very quiet in the area. Most restaurant/cafes were closed in the evening.

The staff was outstanding and the receptionist allowed me to use the hotel`s computer but it would have nice for a separate computer to use or even a small business center.

Historic associations reflected in decor and furnishings. Ideal position for chateau. Helpful and friendly staff.

Location and features of room.could get a Queen sized bed and a twin. Had bathtub and shower combined.

Parking a ways away for a fee

Location to the palace was excellent, and only a short walk from the train station (with helpful signs to the hotel the whole way!). Decent size room, generous bathroom for European standards. Breakfast was definitely worth the extra expense. We also used the restaurant that is in the same building both nights we were there as it was great quality at reasonably prices.

Classic hotel for reasonable prices. Convenient on-street parking.

So close to Versailles and easy walking distance to train station and other areas of city

We were placed in the farthest room in the building"because of a wedding" and we never saw the wedding group. We wondered about that.

The location and friendly helpful staff.

The rooms need a mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities.

The shower and bathroom, was impossibly small.No door on the shower, so water went over the floor and toilet. On two days out of our stay, the room was not cleaned, and on one day ,towels were not changed. Night staff were very unhelpfull. Wifi did not work . The hotel was not value for money.

The hotel is very central to the Palace of Versailles, the train station and the rest of the town. Very quiet hotel during the day and at night, excellent location. Traditional french style room, with a nice window that opened and a confortable bed.

The breakfast room is very small, making it a bit cramped. The cheese selection was pre-packed, which was not good considering the town has fantastic cheese shops and markets. A better selection of breakfast items was expected. Plastic cups in bathroom which were very poor quality. I would expect better from a 3* hotel. Also, there was not the selection of toiletries I would expect. Would have liked some bottled water and/or tea making facilities in the room for 3*. The tv only showed Sky sport and news channels, plus a German channel. Would have liked to see local channel or other Sky channels.

The Staff excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The location 2 mins from the Palace of Versailles. Great price. We will be coming back to this hotel.

The location to Verseilles Palace was the main thing, apart from that nothing else comes to mind

It was in need of some serious maintainence. There was water running down a corridor wall on one of the floors. Our room was not made up when we returned on the second night.

Great location within walking distance of the Chateau of Versailles. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were spacious.

The hotel advertises air conditioning in rooms but it did not work in either of the 2 rooms my family booked. The rooms were extremely warm (granted we were experiencing a heat wave during our stay) and the single windows opened onto a courtyard for the restaurant next door. Employees were chatting and making noise in the courtyard past 11:30pm and it was difficult to get any sleep!

Really elegant, period furnishings that made you feel that you were part of the Palace of Versailles! Proximity to the Palace couldn't be better ie it was across the road. In the month of August you park in the town for free so we were able to leave our car on the road in front of the hotel and Versailles for the duration of our stay without paying.

Limited choice at breakfast. No car park so I guess it could be expensive to park in other months.

Location that cannot be beat for visiting the palace. Friandly and efficient service.
