Nice Location and Staff
We hope a larger a better decorated room based on web pictures for superior rooms.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
We were given a newly renovated room but unfortunately it leaked and affected the room below and we had to move to another room. The management should have test run the function of the room before releasing it to the inventory. Mugs in the first and second room were chipped.
The owners were friendly and spoke fluent English. We were about one block from the center of town and could walk to any restaurant or attraction. The room was spotless and the price was incredibly low for the value received.
Everything - the location is great - less than a 10 minute stroll to the Avignon Central Station and ideally situated for tourist attractions, little cafes and restaurants. Great breakfast in the hotel - excellent value. Absolutely nothing but praise - we will definitely stay there again.
The Hotel staff were simply excellent. They go that "extra mile" to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay.
We loved the wonderful attention we were given. Julie made us feel so welcome- like family. Information was provided about what to see in Provence. Very comfortable, quiet and clean room. The hotel is just steps from the main plaza and easily walkable to the Palace du Papes.
No elevator but assistance with carrying our bags was offered.
Julie was so helpful with information and suggestions. Wonderful restaurants very close by, breakfast adequate.
Spiral staircase not easy but is doable. Difficult to get into but should not stop anyone from staying here; call the hotel if you are having difficulty as the staff is excellent.
Friendly, clean, very good location, great shower, comfy bed. Breakfast sounded like great value too, though we didn't have it.
No soap holder in shower ( now that's being picky!) Only stayed one night
The location is perfect, within walking distance of the railway station, all main attractions, restaurants and bars.
Narrow steep stairs and no lift.
This hotel is in a great location in a central narrow street, no great views but then without the expense or formality of the big hotels in the area. There was a great welcome and the manager was very helpful.
Julie was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for dining and things to do. Booked our day tours for us and was always very helpful
Heplfullness of staff and willingness to ensure our holiday was relaxing and without stress. Avignon is one of the best towns to visit in France.
Instructions on confirmation paperwork received from bookings.com and obtainable at station regarding how to transfer from tgv train station to Avignon gare center.
Lots of character with views into the lane ways of Avignon and the church bells ringing.
We had to carry our suitcases to the second floor up a very tight spiral staircase. No tea and coffee facilities
Very clean. Had everything we needed...tea/coffee/kettle, a little fridge, shaving/makeup mirror, tissues, great shower, a room safe. Only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location, nice and secure.
That we only got to stay one night! The stairs are a bit cramped with suitcases but they helped us with them. No problem.
Good communication with guests. Very comfortable. Great value compared to the big hotels in Avignon.
Reception closes relatively early (not a big deal at all)
Location to sights and restuarants Good english speakers and helpful staff on front desk Breakfast is adequate
Difficuilt staircases to negotiate Head of house keeping a bit officious when the boss is not around
Small hotel in Central Avignon. The room was clean and big enough for our family if 4. Great breakfast and very helpful staff.
Hard to get cases up the very steep stairs, however, the staff did offer to help. If steep stairs are an issue for you, you might want to ask for a room on the ground or 1st floor.
The large comfortable bedroom.
The tiny winding staircase.
Location is excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great breakfast.
Shower is not very hot & very small & slippery. Room is very small. Woken by recycling truck, garbage truck, restaurant noise, bells, cars.
Very friendly and welcoming proprietor and also very helpful with information. Lovely breakfast well worth €8. Great location and very reasonable price so for one night we were happy with what we got.
Our room was on the ground floor and quite small. Curtains were not adequate at window. However, bed was comfy. Bathroom needed updating. Hotel more like B&B and could do with decorating.
Nice room with view on pedestrian street and restaurant. Fine breakfast with fresh fruits.
the lobby and the room for breakfast don't have windows, there was the smell of cleaning agent.
Location was ideal. Relatively quiet street, bang in the centre of the old town. Breakfasts were excellent value for money and the owners were all extremely friendly and helpful. The air conditioning unit was very quiet and worked well.
We upgraded to a superior double which was great, but the bathroom was tiny. We heard the people in the room above us moving around as the building is old and has creaky wooden floors.
Location ~ was 5 minute walk from popes palace Location ~ easy 15 minute walk from avignon center train station Breakfast ~ while an additional charge was well worth the cost Bed ~ extremely comfortable even for my back with multiple surgeries. For runners ~ great starting point to run through the old city or exit and run.around the wall
The location is a bonus, continental breakfast was excellent value. My accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful with information
