Horrible noisy. Window opened to well 9 feet away that acted like sound chamber. Heard every voice from vow us until 5 am No sleep. I want my money back!

In the city center, close to all attractions

No parking

We arrived in Nimes in the rain and could not immediately locate the hotel. With on street parking difficult to find we parked in a parking complex and walked to he hotel. The owners were amazing in assisting us to get our car into the adjacent parking garage offsite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The situation of the hotel to the Ampitheatre is amazing and the owners were wonderful. They also recommended a local restaurant nearby where were enjoyed our best meal in France!

A little difficult to locate but worth the trouble!

Beautifully clean and comfortable. Warm and cosy. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful or kinder.

No complaints at all.If money ran to it in the future, I would have liked a walk in shower, but that is a personal thing being a mature couple.

The hotel is so nice and charming in a very ancient structure, very recently renovated, perfectly located in the heart of Nimes at 100mt from Arenas. The owners are extremely kind and ready to help for any need. Internet is free. It is clearly indicated in the site that breakfast (a beautiful moment!) and city tax are not included. There is no lift but the owner is always offering to help for luggages (and, by the way, it's part of charme).

The hotel was very charming and the location was fantastic. The owners were very available and extrememly helpful. We really enjoyed Nimes and all it had to offer. It was the perfect place to stay for day trips to other parts of Provence.

The breakfast was very basic. Perhaps some sliced fresh fruit or cooked egg options.

Our room (N.14) was very big, well decorated and with a very confortable bed. Bathroom was also big and with a nice and relaxing bathtube. The hotel is very well located, being inside the old city and less than 100m from the roman arena.

There was no shower as option/complement to the bathtub.

Really nice hotel situated in the midst of things plus not too far from the train station and tourist info office. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars near by. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the owner who is English is very helpful.

I had a really nice stay at Hotel De L'Amphitheatre. It was fantastically located, right next to the amphitheatre in the centre of old nimes. The room I was put in was spacious and attractive, with high ceilings and a large en-suite bathroom with a big bath! I found the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was good. For the price I couldn't have asked for more.

The owners were very helpful and friendly which we felt made all the difference. It is central to everything . We will be using this hotel everytime we go to Nimes. If its not already fully booked.

Good location, the Arena is just around the corner. Our room was big and clean.

As a family hotel, you'll miss some standard facilities in modern hotels. No lift, it will be a good exercise if your room is on the second or third floor.

Very spacious room with a view of the square. Extremely well decorated and lots of natural light. The entire hotel was very classy.

The wireless stopped working towards the end of the evening, however I don't know if was my device? It was the case for both my iPad and iPhone though.

Very clean with comfy beds, beautiful town house building and sounds of the city in the street below giving an authentic feel of the ancient city. Lovely breakfast provided by helpful and friendly french lady.

no coffee making facility in the room and the owner was not effusive with welcome on arrival, was more friendly the next day however.

We celebrated part of our honeymoon at this hotel and we couldn't have made a better choice. The hotel is beautifully charming and the room was typically French and very romantic. The welcome we had upon arrival was excellent; the owners were superb hosts and nothing was too much effort. The hotel itself is perfectly located.

The staff of this hotel were very helpful and relaxed. The location is fantastic. It is very near to the main sights and has numerous restaurants and cafes very close by. The room had everything that was needed and was a comfortable place to stay for a few days exploring Nîmes.

only fans in room and it was v hot. No lift so luggage up 2 flights of stairs was a real challenge.

Very tastefully recently restored. Lovely location right in the city centre next to the Amphitheatre and a great pedestrianised little square with good collection of outside cafes to choose from. AC in the family room we had. Good European Buffet breakfast at 10 euros and 5 for the kids.

Bit of a nigthmare to find by car if you don't have a street map. Have to ignore a few Bus Only signs to actually park outside to drop off your bags. Parking is in the underground car park near by at 16:50 euros for 24hrs.

The new owners of the hotel have upgraded the accommodations and the Petite De-joiner was extra-special. The owners greeted us, helped with our bags, and made sure our visit was comfortable. Highly recommend!
