Hotel De L'Atelier    

Il piccolo giardino interno è una meraviglia, la colazione abbondante e piacevole da gustare, il personale gentile e premuroso.

La stanza forse non offriva grande spazio per muoversi.

La struttura è potenzialmente molto bella: un vecchio palazzo in pietra chiara con balconi interni.

Peccato che sia completamente trascurato: angoli carini si alternano a mobili ammucchiati senza ordine e armonia; vasi vuoti o con piante secche, quadri orrendi, ecc... Le stanze sono brutte e non tenute bene. Non c'è aria condizionata e I ventilatori che loro citano sono in realtà piccoli e insufficienti. La signora che gestisce l'hotel è sorridente ma tutt'altro che gentile. Poco accoglienti. Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

L'assoluta bellezza della struttura, degli arredi (d'epoca) e dei cortili interni e la varietà e bontà della colazione (a circa 8,00 euro), consumata all'aperto nel graziosissimo cortile interno. La gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario.

All'arrivo, verso le 15.00, ci è stato consentito di lasciare I bagagli ma non di attendere nei locali comuni in attesa delle camere (disponibili dalle 16.00), cosa che vista la nostra stanchezza (essendo in viaggio dal mattino), e il notevole caldo, ci ha veramente indisposto. L'albergo non è ad Avignone ma in un paese (bellissimo) confinante a circa 3 km e la sera il comodo autobus di collegamento non è disponibile. Quanto sopra è stato ampiamente compensato dalla bellezza dell'hotel e dall'ampiezza delle camere.

La location .. Camere carine quasi sottovalutato per essere un solo tre stelle. Poteva essere un tre stelle superiore. Ambiente molto carino ed accogliente. Bellissimo il giardino interno.

Quiet old hotel , cold coffe during breakfast , couldn't find nice restaurant but guys from pizzeria were great and very nice.

The hotel had an old world atmosphere with friendly staff. It was located away from the main and busy area of Avignon in a more relaxed but interesting village. It was clean and well located to enjoy the many nearby castles and close to many resturants and eateries.

No coffee making facilities in th rooms. The stairs are narrow and steep for carrying luggage

Staff were friendly and efficient, very obliging. Room was fine, lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy. Car parking closeby was an asset. Easy to get around town. The inevitable roadworks mixed the GPS up no end, but we got there!

Location was good. There were extensive roadworks outside but these did not affect us at all. Parking was available a short walk away as was the local bus to Avignon. The owners were very helpful with advice, the breakfast was good and the room was spacious enough for 3 of us to be comfortable in.

Beautiful heritage guesthouse with helpful and professional staff. My image exactly of romantic French provincial hotel. My husband was ill during our stay and staff were kind and helpful.

Great location and friendly welcome. It was very easy to access Avignon from Villeneuve lez Avignons. The town had lots of good restaurants and sights to visit. Being outside of Avignon made it easier to visit other towns. Plenty to keep us busy for three days.

Could not stay longer.

Very French! Old and not spoiled by modernising. Old door latches old timber. Comfortable like a favourite pair of slippers. Outbuildings in the garden create delightful views, perspectives and surprise corners. Lovely colours. Sunbeams through the tree branches. Delightful village centre with cafes and the Mill Restaurant at the far end of the village was the best dining experience we can remember.

The Mistral but that's no one's fault.

Lovely big nicely decorated room on 1st floor. Used their secure parking for 9 euros, which was handy. Great little courtyards and outdoor seating areas. Wifi (24 hrs for 2 euros) worked ok. Reception was excellent in terms of efficiency and helpfulness.

No toiletries in our room – an oversight, I assumed, but we had our own so didn’t raise the issue. Beware of office hours, they are unusually restrictive and I hadn't noted this when booking – need to arrive between 4-8pm, and can’t check out before 8am (though in fact we managed to do so, after pleading the need to leave just before 8am to catch a train!).

Villeneuve is a bit of a trek from central Avignon, but a frequent bus is only 1.5 euros (though last bus back is 8pm). Villeneuve itself does have several historic sites worth visiting (the fort, the abbey and the tower), and there is a main square only 100 metres from the hotel with a good choice of not-too-expensive restaurants. The hotel is very clean and full of character. I suspect for many men the decor might be a bit "precious", but their wives will enjoy it! The room was quiet, pleasantly fitted out and the beds comfortable. There isn't any aircon, but there is a fan in the room. The owners are helpful and speak good English. Note that food and drink from outside are not permitted. It's a shame that you can't at least use the tables out in the garden. You have to pay for wifi, but it's only 2 euros for 24 hours. We didn't have breakfast but it seemed a little expensive at 9 euros. There is a small boulangerie 50 metres away, and a good little coffee bar in the car park near the bus stop! Overall a good stay, and would use again. The price was a bit more than we'd paid elsewhere for similar accommodation, but it does seem that the Avignon area is not a cheap place to stay.

Been there before 18 years ago and wanted to visit the village and friends who live near by. The entire family were so delightful, helpful and gracious....we felt 'very spoilt'.

A charming hotel. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast in the lovely courtyard was a real treat. The location was fine--a short walk to catch a bus to Avignon.

The hotel is in a stunning location set in a historic village with lots to do. The hotel was clean, beautifully designed, with a courtyard to sit out in and enjoy breakfast. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English. You felt totally safe and the hotel made it a very relaxing stay. The Booking details really don't do this hotel justice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location if you like peace and quiet but close to Avignon. Friendly, helpful staff. Imaginative but comfortable decor.

Can only park 200 metrea away for a daily fee.

Die Hoteliers waren umwerfend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel wird sehr familiär geführt, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Wir würden jederzeit noch einmal in dieses Hotel fahren.
