Hotel de l'Avenir  

The location -- it is just about a block from the luxembourg gardens. My room on the fourth floor had a balcony overlooking the street and was extremely quiet. The facilities are older but not decrepit. If you're looking for a luxury hotel stay in the Hotel St Germain de Pres or the Lutetia. This is more reasonable but you do get what you pay for. The bathrooms had been upgraded recently and there was a towel drier in the bathroom.

The hot water in the bathroom was not quite hot enough. It was warm but with the hot water turned all the way up and the cold turned off the shower wasn't quite warm enough.

Charming Hotel in the best location! Staff was helpful,friendly and made our first trip to Paris even better! Morning breakfast delivered to our room was perfect way to start the day! Great Cafe across the street, Luxembourg Gardens a block away Perfect location! Absolutely would choose this hotel again.

We liked the proximity to the shops and great restaurants. The friendliness of the person at the Front Desk who gave us good tips on what restaurants to go to ect... All in all a great experience

The rooms were a little bit small and the next time we come we will ask for a room with a shower only as the bathtub was very very small

The location is wonderful. Easy access from the rer and close to good restaurants in a section of Paris that is not too touristy. I had stayed there 50 years ago with my father on our way to the Middle East. It has been modernized since then but being sentimental, it was fun for me to be there. It has its quirks as it did 50 years ago but is perfectly acceptable to me.

My husband like to have coffee available at all times. He is an early riser and had to wait for the staff to arrive to get coffee.

The staff was available 24/7 and took care of all my needs. I had a view of the street on the 5th floor and it was lovely. For being in the middle of the Paris, it is very quiet at night which is rare. The Location is outstanding.

Locatie was uitstekend. Personeel vriendelijk.

De eerste kamer die we hadden was benauwend. Er was geen douche aanwezig, wel een bad. Volgende dag een andere kamer gevraagd met douche. Deze kamer was ook nog groter en goedkoper.

a simpatia dos funcionários, eu me sentia em casa, o bairro é muito tranquilo, está do lado da Alliance Française, onde eu fiz um curso de francês. agora ue os apartamentos foram reformados está muito agradável

N'ayant passé qu' une nuit dans cet hôtel, je peux seulement dire que j' ai apprécié le calme du quartier. D' autre part , sa situation près de Montparnasse est idéale.

Być może byłby to dobry hotel, gdyby nie wpadka personelu na samym początku.!!! Po przyjeździe recepcjonista powiedzial że nie ma miejsc (2 jedynki) Potwierdzenie było lecz on swoje Po dziesięciu minutach powiedział że w okolicach nie ma.
