The location..2 minutes walking to the Metro. The charming of the room, the garden, a good breakfast. The price is good for a room in Paris. We will this hotel again when we visit Paris again.
This was my first time in Paris. I wanted to stay in a spot that was easy to get around the city. Hotel D'Avre is central to everything. Shops, cafés, restaurants, public transport. We were within walking distance to the Eiffel tower and easy access to other main attractions. Top spot to be in. The staff were very helpful and available 24/7. Breakfast was amazing. And the atmosphere was relaxing. Very enjoyable stay. I would stay again if ever back in Paris.
The only thing I can say that I didnt like was the room was very small but I knew that rooms in Paris were eo I expected it.
Close to metro, friendly staff let us leave our belongings while we travelled to other cities.
Rooms are tiny. Overpriced.
The hotel was very close to the Eiffel Tour and restaurants. Helpful staff - gave us glasses and utensils to enjoy our evening dinner. The decor created a nice ambiance. Also, the windows were nice a big in our room with a view of the terrace. There were fans, but not A/C. We were there in August, but it wasn't too hot for us at all.
Cleanliness of bathroom, Closeness to main attractions We were able to store our luggage for a while and it was a late checkout. Daytime staff friendly and happy
Room was only clean on surface Lots of dirt and fluff under dressers and wardrobe Too much clutter of decor to put personal stuff. Night staff man needs to learn to smile and be social, looked miserable.
Price has been up from 80€ couple of years ago to 115€.
The staff were excellent very friendly were always helpful and happy
Shower not for men very smaĺl noisy when other guests in and out and when walking in heels on wood floor
Cute Hotel with lovely decor, great location close to the Eiffel Tower, good customer service and great value for money.
Although we were able to leave our luggage on day of checkout, this was simply just at the bottom of the staircase, it would have been good if they had offered at least a secured closet/room we could have left it in.
+ location (3' from metro; 15' walking to eiffel t.)
- too small room for our standards
The hotel was beautiful and enhanced our Paris experience. The location was perfect -- quiet enough to sleep with the windows open, but close to the Eiffel Tower and two Metro stops. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was a fantastic way to start the day! Anka (spelling?), Victor and others went out of their way to make us feel at home.
One of the receptionists (male, working on Friday and Saturday nights) was a bit standoffish, but that was the only thing that came close to a complaint. Highly recommended overall.
I feel comfortable during my stay just like home,,all decoration & antique furniture and lots of photo frames in the room,,staffs are mostly friendly and small but nice garden is just more than enough! very quiet and easy access to metro station 1~2min. walking distance.
Lift operates a bit slow and we mostly didn't take the lift when we go down and better to stepping stairs.
What attracted me was that French Parisian decor in the room, which is what I was looking for spending just 1 night in Paris. The hotel was close to great restaurants, taxi stand, metro as was 10 - 15mins walk to Eiffel Tower. Wifi was good, strong reception in both the room and the lounge. The room was very clean and tidy too. For a short trip like us, that's all we needed.
The reception area is a bit small and if you want to store your luggage after checked out, it's left basically under a stairwell, which anyone can walk pass the throughfare. Not a good idea.
Closeness to Eiffel tower. Metro was also close. Restaurants in the neighbor hood vey nice.
Smallness of room and bathroom
Great location, walking distance to the main attractions and close to the metro. The hotel itself definately had the Parisian feel to it, the effort into the decor was fabulous.
Air conditioning would of been a plus but didn't bother us too much for the short stay we had (a fan was supplied)
likabke hotel in 15th arr.
lika all paris hotels, small room
Loved the authentic French feel of the hotel and really awesome location for walking, close to metro and eiffel tower.
Nothing. Loved it. Will be going back!
Excellent location, the metro stop is 2 minutes walk away and is at the intersection of 3 lines. Walking distance from the Eiffel Tower Good value in summer for Paris. Room was tidy and had character. 24 Hour reception and the front desk staff all spoke good English (housekeeping not so much).
The hotel was quite dark both in the reception area, the hallway and in the rooms which gave you a feeling it was a bit old and dirty (though this was not really the case in the hotel room). The bathroom only had 1 light above the sink and nothing above the bath and hence was also very dark. Water pressure was very average. You had to give back your room key daily before you left (for the reason that too many guests have lost the key previously), this was an inconvenience but the reception was 24 hours. They charge for coffee/tea at cafe rates and there was no hot water facility unless you ask, however I believe this is a common issue in European hotels. Also I do not know why they reuse the cardboard sleeve they give you when you get your room key. While I support recycling, giving me a worn key sleeve left a bad impression on the quality of the hotel. The bathroom was quite tight and you had to sit at a weird angle on the toilet.
The hotel is in a great location close to the Eiffel Tower, groceries and restaurants. The lobby is quite nice as well as the dining room, garden and the room. Everything is beautifully decorated.
Bathroom is very small and looks a bit old and shabby. Dust on the furniture, especially shelves. My bf accidentally hit the shelf above the bed and there was lots of dust falling on us aftewards.
Wonderful to walk to the Eiffel each morning which was nearby. Also close to Metro. Very friendly helpful staff.
Location Quaint Safe Friendly
Only spent one night
Friendly staff. Convienent to Metro.
Location, clean and quiet, nice courtyard.
Tiny rooms, but to be expected in Paris! Shower too small, could barely fit
Location was good as was service, room was nice size.
The shower door had come off its runner and was being fixed the following day but we were only there one night. Not really a problem but just stopped it being excellent.
Great place to stay! Staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the night guy. Very quiet area with lots of shopping, restaurants and bakeries.
I wish they had AC in the rooms.
