The ability to check in at any time, having a manned desk was helpful. Very very tired room, 1 built in pillow for bed. If the cost had been half of what we paid then "you get what you pay for" but I felt this was a very substandard room. |

The reception was open 24 hours. That's important for an hotel located at the railway station. Staff was good. |

The location is good because it's near the train station !!! it doesn't have bath mat and there's a bin in only the shower room. |

1. Soundproofing is terrible, you can hear other people speaking in other rooms, all kind of noises, etc. 2. The worst mattress I have ever seen. |

We had a great stay at Hotel de L'Europe! The staff is very friendly and the hotel provided everything one would expect for this budget,as well as what one would need to enjoy their stay at Tours. |

The location was excellent, close to the bus and train stations and the main tourist office and only a short walk to the old town and the Christmas markets. The toilet and shower in the rooms were rather strangely located, although they were adequate. |

The staff was super helpful, friendly and kind. Natalie at reception spent a lot of time trying to help me with train schedules, etc... Everyone was extremely nice. The location for train travelers could not be better. My room was clean enough and I love having a nice big window I can open or close as desired. The lobby and central areas of the reception area had an unpleasant odor, but the rooms were fine. The bed was the softest, most lumpy bed I have ever encountered in a hotel room. I managed okay with it, but the hotel needs to buy some new matresses and make the beds with regular pillows rather than the strange way they twisted the sheets with pillow material inside. Maybe this is the local way? |

Close to town, large rooms We booked two rooms, one had a balcony and a big bathroom, the other had one tiny window and a small plastic bathroom in the corner. The rates were the same for two very different rooms. The staff did not speak any english, and were rude. There was no option to not be disturbed, we asked not to be and were laughed at and told that the manager inspected all the rooms with no exception. Street noise |
