I have been to Paris a few times and l am very well aware of the Paris hotels quality and prices. If your hotel budget streches close to 100 euros a night, l highly reccommend you chose this hotel for the following reasons; very good location, withing 4-8 minutes walking distance to 3 different Metro stations, less then 20 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower, very very nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood with plenty caffes, shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, l understand some people complain here about the room sizes but to be honest l was very happy with mine, 504 l stayed at, quiet ample, good interior design, l loved the toilet high spec fit out and funcionality, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I never tried their 9 Euro / head breakfast so l can not comment on that. All in all excellent value for money for a good hotel in very nice area. There wasnt much wrong with this hotel to be honest. Ideally they were a few things that l could do without during my stay there like; the facade repair works taking place on the building opposite the hotel (they dont work during weekend, they start work after 8 which never really bothered me as l was up and ready to go out by then hence this was never really a nuissance to me), or the fact that did not change the sheets every day ( they would do up your room every day of course), the breakfast could have been a bit cheaper but at the end is their loss as l had breakfast at the caffes near by for a lot less than that, and lastly there is no fridge in the room and that l feel is a bit petty since it is done to encourage the stayer to spend money on drinks at the hotel and not bring things form outside (this was never an issue to me however as there were plenty of shops near by where l could get cold drinks, very cheap wine and fruits daily). Nevertheless, l highly reccommend it

Free WiFi This was one of the worst hotels we ever visited. The Hotel has 6 floors and an elevator that is so slow that one has a tendency to give up on waiting for it to come, even with heavy luggage. The rooms are too small and crowded, the furniture is old and dingy, and the toilette is actually 30 cm from the bed. The plumbing is so bad that flushing the toillette causes incredible noise. We were on the 2nd floor, and we were woken up everytime anyone above us (4 floors) flushed his or her toilette. When we asked for a different room (on the 6th floor) we were given a room that was mouldy and wet - and the "nice" people at the reception said: take it or leave it - there is no other. They did not want to do anything, but nevertheless they said that we need to leave the room in the morning, and that the new room will be ready in the afternoon. There was no other room in the afternoon, they just simulated doing something by making us pack and carry our things every day. Horrible!

Room was neat and had all facilties, although it was slightly small and the reception staff can speak good English. The man at the reception tried a trick to charge extra for my 1 year old infant, when my booking clearly states children below 3 years stays free of charge. Since I was firm on the booking information, he gave it up. But this is not right and they should act honestly as per the agreed tersm and conditions without trying to cheat guests.

Near to main tourist areas and transportation (metro & bus). Very calm & quite hotel, espicially to a family stay, the staff are trying their best to assist. The room is smaller than what's looks in the website, there's no any refrigerator in the room.

The Hotel provides interconnecting rooms for a family of four with each room having its own bathroom at a reasonably price. This was the main reason we chose the hotel. It is an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower. A post office, supermarket and laundromat are all located within a one minute walk. There are also a number of wonderful patisseries located nearby. People are allowed to smoke in rooms.

Staff very friendly and helpful both with directions and suggestions were to eat etc Pillows were soft and only one per guest. Rooms small but that is to be expected in Paris.

The area is really convenient in terms of public transport (metro is a 7 minute walk and there is also a bus), and it is also ideal because it is quiet. The hotel was neat, the rooms looked recently refurbished and the beds were good (firm) and the bathroom was new as well. The staff was also very friendly. We don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel. The rooms are small (hence little storage space for bags, clothes, etc), but we were expecting that so this was no problem at all. The plumbing was kind of noisy, but again this did not bother us. Our impression was that the walls were not thick, but once again all our neihgbours were very quiet so no problem here either. In short: great place.

The staff was marvelous. Everything was delightful with one exception . . . I would have liked to have gotten a coffee or tea in the morning without paying a fortune for one cup. They offer a buffet breakfast for nine euros. I looked before I paid and I'm glad I did. What was offered was not worth the expense. We ate elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and inviting. Our family 2-room suite and the breakfast area were adorable. It was about a 15-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. I'd highly recommend it and would stay there again if I get another opportunity to go to Paris.

Among positive impressions are only the location - very close to Effel Tower (1 hour walk to Louvre) and the hotel staff. Awful beds - very soft. My back was aching all the time. Very very small rooms - hard to imagine that the room could be so small. I was staying in October 2011 - the hotel is under renovation process. A bit annoying if you stay for several days

Good location, clean rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The room was very small and the bathroom with the toilet were separated from the room with just a glass wall and a door which couldn't be closed completely.

“The staff reception staff were helpful, pleasant and attentive and were more than willing to speak English. We greatly appreciated that as soon as we arrived, we were offered to have a shuttle bus to the airport arranged for our departure. Our room and bathroom were both spacious enough, and we were very pleased to have a bathtub (with shower over) - perfect for soaking away the tired travellers knees and feet. With the Dupleix train station being so close, the position was fantastic for getting around, plus it was only a comfortable 10 to 15 minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower. It is a very quiet area, so no late night disturbances. There is an elevator as well as staircase. ” Mark, Bendigo |
