15 minute walk from train station, which was great since taxi driver wanted to charge us 75 Euro to take us there! Very modern and clean. The desk staff was so helpful, giving us directions to places, organizing cabs and even helping us with tour arrangements.
No air condition. We had a front room window which was nice except it's really loud in the night to sleep with it open as the Loud sirens would wake us. The bathroom is super small but I guess that's how it is in France... The shower however was a bit uncomfortable as the shower curtain kept sticking to us while we showered so was difficult to get a good bath in.
Good location, close to metro station with direct connection to Gard du Nord. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
It's quite expensive, but the accommodation in Paris is never cheap.
staff not interested in customers, not listening to any request, wifi not working properly, old infrastructure
Location of the Hotel
I requested if possible a room with outside views, on my arrival at reception I was informed that there would be no problem and room was assigned, as it was early I was requested to do the checking at 14.30, I had to wait till 15.00PM and after they show me picture of my room and if I would like to change I would have to pay EUR 10,00, as I didn't want to pay more they change my room assigned and gave me a room with no outside views.
It is really the worst hotel I ever met in my life. The rooms are very dirty! Bed-clothes are not fresh, they never change them after the previous guests. No bath accessories. And the main horrible thing IS the hotel is full of bed bugs... It's DISGUSTING!!! :((((( Never again. Btw I was in the centre of Paris. Welcome to the Hotel de l'Exposition! ;)
-Friendly Staff. -Great location, 5 mins walk to République Metro Station. -Free Wifi with strong signal. -Has an elevator. -Free continental breakfast with hot and cold choices.
-Our room for 4 people was just a little packed. -Boulevard Magenta is a busy place, you may find it a little noisy in rush hour, yet for us it was okay since we were tired every night.
Reception Hospitability Good Location
Toilet, too small, cannot have a comfortable shower. Room clearing is very poor No in room facilities, e.g. Electric Kettle
Toilets tiny, dirty floors, showers dirty, shower curtain mouldy, walls dirty. The place did not live up to the ratings or the images. It's far from a hotel and I have stayed in many in Paris.
breakfast was ok (continental breakfast)
wifi could have stronger range breakfast was ok, but there is not enough seat so when everybody get on the same time you will have to wait for a free table
The location was the only positive thing about this hotel.
After leaving the hotel, we discovered we were bitten by bed bugs in the night. It was incredibly hard to sleep because the room was so hot and stuffy, despite the fact that it was cool outside. I sent an email to the hotel asking to speak to someone about the bugs, as we brought them home and now have to deal with it here. There was no reply. The room was not decorated in an appealing way, and it was incredibly hot and stuffy. I wish I never stayed at this hotel.
Front desk staff
Dusty poor bathrooms
Friendly and helpful staff; practical and central location close to a metro hub; restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The rooms are small but all the affordable hotels in Paris are the same. The room has a small refrigerator. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is basic but ok.
Wi-Fi was a little weak.
Rooms way too hot(needs aircon) Lift too small Old fashioned bathroom Poor service Parking is poor Breakfast is a joke Rooms very basic and very small.
Wifi access. Staff was brilliant. Modern look. Location was fantastic.
Quite small room. The payment cane out of my account as well as having to pay when we got there.
All the staff in the hotel could not do enough to help us, we have very little french but their English was great.
Pleasant Staff, superb location, clean and tidy. Not the biggest of hotels but perfectly formed, comfy beds, friendly staff and right in the heart of it. Super little cafe a couple of doors down too. Perfect for those who want a base for exploring the city - definatly rexcommend and will return
Breakfast was good too. I recommend and would stay again
Close to Gare du Nord Price ok
Cramped room The hotel had had a makeover, however, the styling missed the spot for us. The black painted walls and black carpet in the poorly lit stairwell didn't seem like the best idea. Not a particularly warm reception on arriving - first impressions last... Noisy and on a busy main street
The staff is kind a nice. The location near the Republic is good. The breakfast is pretty good.
The room is very small specially the bathroom/shower.
Location, safe area, variety of restaurants, friendly and knowledgable staff, easy access to metro, laundry mat just around the corner.
Rooms are tight. Shower is small. Wish there was a little more variety to the breakfast selection.
Don't go in summer as no aircon and cannot sleep. At breakfast other travelers we're wiped out as were we from heat . Pay more elsewhere .
Nothing due to being locked out
Was locked out of the hotel despite it being a 24 hour reception. Had to walk around for an hour before finding a hotel with availability
Location. That is the only decent thing about this place.
Wifi is terrible, cleanliness is non existent. I found a cigarette butt under the bed. Makes you wonder how clean the sheets you are sleeping on are and Wether they did any proper cleaning.
Our room was ready when we arrived and our stay was pleasant. Great value accommodations!
The dining area was very cramped. The breakfast food was not upto great. Service needed to be better. Overall not a good experience
