Hotel de l'Impératrice  

I read the other reviews here and noticed the recent ones were good and the older ones sometimes very bad. The fact is the present owners only took this hotel over in January of this year so cannot be held accountable for the old management. The owner has ambitions to gain a listing as a 'Logis de France' and improve the place. The restaurant is a wonderful gaily decorated light room. I can't comment on the food as I wasn't hungry the night I was there but the intention is to make the restaurant a 'real' restaurant rather than what is found in Rue Carnot and on the promenade -- stuff done in the microwave, standard brasserie fair.

At present the decor in the hotel is very tired and my room was pokey and dark. I can't comment on others. The outside of the building needs to be smartened up with the huge blue sinage replaced with more elegant ones. What the restaurant has to offer needs listing in the windows to entice people in. At present it looks nothing special. I hope the owners manage to make this hotel a smart 'Logis'. It has to be said, though, that Berck at present is not a smart town.

Typical french hotel, in need of some tlc, our bedroom was small and lacked any storage ,but restaurant refurbished and served good food. The staff and owners very helpful. Good location for short walk to the sea. There is no hotel parking, vehicles have to be left on the street.

The restaurant. I have stayed here before. Rooms adequate. Restaurant very good.

Etablissement bien situé, proche de l'esplanade de la mer dans une rue relativement calme. Chambre meublée avec goût et vaste salle de bain. Présence d'un balconnet. Personnel efficace et très chaleureux qui nous a gratifié d'un petit aperçu historique concernant le bâtiment hôtelier.

Accueil chaleureux, chambre très propre, établissement et quartier calmes.

Propriétaires proche de la clientèle, qui souhaite répondre à ses besoins.

Accueil très cordial, chambre très propre, très bien situé. Les nouveaux propriétaires ont une volonté de vous rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible et veulent bien faire. A encourager !

Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et l Hotel est très bien tenu.

l hotel est tres bien situé au calme ; les propriétaires sont trés sympatiques ; ils prennent le temps de vous conseiller , la nourriture est excelente ainsi que le petit dejeuner le petit salon et trés cool ! par contre le stationnement n est pas évident ! je vous le conseil bon hotel bon prix bien

Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Restaurant de bon niveau bon rapport qualité prix. Chambres calmes, et propres.

L'acceuil très chaleureux des nouveaux propriétaires, leurs disponibilitées auprès des clients. Je conseil cet hôtel aux personnes qui visitent la région. La gastronomie est parfaîte et la présentation des plats, rien à redire.
