Hotel De l'Olivier is a small, quaint, welcoming hotel. The rooms are individually and tastefully decorated (with air conditioning). It's very for old town and beach. And far enough away from the crowds to be relaxing. Although next to a busy road, this in no way affected our stay. Spotlessly clean. Felt very comfortable staying here. Staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here. Breakfasts are slightly expensive. Agree that tea/coffee facility in room would be nice. Traffic is audible but not offputting when by the pool (it's not heated). Staying in Cannes is a "city break" by the sea. |

This hotel is in a quiet street within easy walking distance from the old town of Cannes, public beaches and the promenade - the perfect location for taking a rest from your busy professional life or just to enjoy vacation in one of the most exciting cities on the Cote d'Azur. The hotel is professionally run by a friendly family whose members and coworkers proudly offer an impeccable service incl good quality breakfast, a clean pool, spacious air-conditioned rooms, and a smile. No need to look anywhere else for next time around. |

Rooms were very small - particularly the bathroom. Also the one female member of staff was rude and unhelpful - refusing to allow my sister to wait by the pool after check-out time (11am) whilst she waited for a flight. This was during a heatwave and therefore all the more uncharitable. |

walking distance to nearby cafes, bars and beach, cleaniness and comfort of the hotel, majority of hotel staff very helpful and friendly. buffet breakfast lacking in choice for the price. no tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Drinks in glasses served around pool, but food not allowed (didnt understand this!) Drinks should always be served in unbreakables to avoid injuries. |

The pool The broken shower, broken air conditioning, tiny rooms, rude staff, it was too expensive for what it was. The room was a disgrace and had mould growing in the bathroom. It was room 16, very substandard, as a travel writer I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. I don't think I have ever met anyone so rude as the man on the front desk on the morning of the check out which was 19th of August. We were forced to move away from the pool because we had checked out despite the fact that we didn't check in the week before until the 9pm. We paid over 1,000 euros for a room that you couldn't move in. And that didn't even have a drawer to put away folded clothes. Never again. |

Charming place! Friendly and efficient staff, cleanliness, nicely appointed room with airco. Ideal location to discover both old and new Cannes, and enjoy the "Le Suquet" area. Nice pool to relax around/in afterwards, too. Quiet yet close to many things to do. It fully met and exceded any expectations one can have of a 3-star hotel (indeed, it's nicer than many 4 or 5 star hotels I've stayed in). Nothing really to complain about. Breakfast was nice, if a bit limited in choice when on a longer stay. |

The hotel was in a very quiet, yet convenient location close to the centre of Cannes. The hotel also had a nice ambience. |

I got the room on the top floor and the terrace was worth the money. A nice room. Staff was very friendly. We stayed an extra night because we were so happy with the room. The shower is a little difficult to use without getting water everywhere. |

Friendly, quiet and very french. Very close to one of the best streets for restaurants in Cannes - a pretty cobble stone area climbing up a hill with seating outside - 39 in a row so plenty of choice. Good to have a view of the Med and mountains from our room. Breakfast was in a nice restaurant area but a bit mean for the price. It wasn't included. Bathroom was tiny - would not be good for the larger person! |

THe room was very cozy and the staff were very helpful. The other most important thing was the location- very centrally located and we were able to walk to all major points. Also there is a street cafe very close to the hotel and easily accessible. Would recommend it. We did not have breakfast but would have like to have breakfast includedin hotel charge. |
