Hotel de L'Opéra  

Location, price.

This is not a hotel. You have to walk to another nearby hotel for reception. There you get an access code to enter the desolate sleeping facility. The reported 24 hour front desk is therefore not true. Rooms are very small, old, non-decorated, low standards, and have no view on anything. This also seems to be the reason there are only pictures of the charming outside of the hotel, none of the rooms, which is unfair. The toilet was funny, about the size I was used to at kindergarten. You can hear music of the dancing next-door (softly, till about 01:00), the reported soundproofed rooms are thus not adequate. Breakfast is extra charged, which is insane if you are located in an area with nice sunny terraces with fairly priced café and croissants. This type of hotel can be exactly what you need, if only it was reported as such in the description and photos. Otherwise, it is bound to be a deception.

The shower was hot and the heating worked

Rooms were a bit small but was ok for one night.The breakfast was not worth the extra $

This hotel does not have a reception. You have to go to another hotel just around the corner. This should have been made clear on the booking. The staff at the other hotel were good, but when you ring the door at the hotel you have booked and are told to go to another hotel you have never heard of and a name you cannot understand, with a car double parked, it is not a comfortable welcome.

Proche de quinconce (bus venant de l'aéroport), de l'opéra et du centre ville. Rapport qualité /prix intéressant. Accueil sympathique.

Chambre twin un peu petite. Odeurs "difficiles" dans la salle de bain.

La situation en centre ville et la vue sur le théâtre, bien desservi par le tramway, le rapport qualité-prix.

La localisation

Ma chambre qui ressemblait plus à un cagibi qu'à une chambre. Heureusement, la 2ème nuit, après avoir insisté pour déménager j'ai pu obtenir une chambre correcte. L'hôtel est vieillot.

Die Lage direkt im Zentrum ist unschlagbar gut. Das notwendigste ist vorhanden, die Zimmer sind sauber, aber spartanisch, für Businesstrips oder eine Städtereise aber wirklich in Ordnung.

Das Frühstück ist im Preis nicht inbegriffen und ist dann für 8€ Aufpreis ziemlich dürftig.

La situation

Le prix + petites odeurs (salle de bain et entrée)

Excellente situation géographique en plein coeur de Bordeaux et à proximité immédiate du tramway.

Pour un hôtel de ce prix, le confort est minimum : petite chambre avec le minimum! Le petit déjeuner ne propose un grand choix. L'hôtel n'a pas de réception, il faut aller à celle d'un autre hôtel...

La sympathie du personnel !

Chambre très simple,pas d'armoire pour les habits,deux petites étagères ne servant pas à grand chose,un décor froid,la douche avec un rideau qui vous rentre dans les fesses lorsque vous vous douchez,alors que l'on aurait pu fermer avec une porte de douche coulissante ! strict minimum !!
