perfect hotel. great position within the walled town of st malo.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable beds. Parking is very close by. Perfectly located for restaurants, shops and a good starting point to walk around the wall.

A full enclosure for taking a shower would have saved a lot of water clean up.

Being within the ramparts of St Malo the hotel is right in the hub. Very good bar and breakfast more than ample. Also the ferry port is only 10 minutes walk away

Excellent location within the town walls, close to all sights and a wide range of places to eat. A very good 3 star hotel which is ideal for short breaks, there is a bar and and cafe/smoking area.

I liked the bar downstairs and the atmosphere. It was all clean and staff friendly and professional.

The room for single occupancy was small and the bed tiny! I thought it was very clean but overpriced. I think Euro 50 would be a fair price for the accommodation.

Located just within the walls of old St Malo, it is an excellent center to explore this beautiful little town. Hotel itself is charming, has been well remodeled over the years. My room was spacious, wonderful tall windows that let in a nice breeze, clean, comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Just a short walk from the city wall where I was able to stroll at all hours.

The elevator . . . not sure how to describe this. about two feet deep, four feet wide, seven feet tall. Not exaggerating, those are the measurements. A bit scary for one who is a bit claustrophobic and there was only just enough room for me and my small bag. However, this is the *only* issue I had with the hotel, so I am quite pleased with my stay.

What do you think. We have been staying there for more than 40 years. That should say it all!

- I liked that we were able to make early check in - I liked the perfect location of the hotel (should be promoted more, we find it by chance) - I liked the huge bathroom

- The internet did not work very well - The location for breakfast was not very nice so we choose to go outside the hotel for breakfast

Great Hotel for an overnight stay in St malo, superb location.

Good size room with bath, clea, comfortable and perfectly placed inside the walls of this wonderful city.

The lift, I thought it was the food lift to the kitchen when it first arrived. Overall depth about 18" max, supposed to carry 4 but I think you might get 4 6 year olds in it without their satchels if you're lucky but worth a laugh anyway.

The location was good. The building decor was fun.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful except the young waiter in the bar. The hotel smelled smoky throughout even though it was listed as non-smoking.

The room was a great size, very clean and they provided us with a room with a bathtub when requested. I was traveling alone with my 2-year-old son and they allowed us to store our baggage in a baggage room before and after check-out (as we were without a car and taking the train.) The room was really warm-perfect for winter. The hotel is right next to the front gate, bus, manege, restaurants, the ramparts and not too far from the entrance to the beach. It was really convenient for me to take my son everywhere from the hotel.

I found the staff to be adequate but not overly friendly. There was a problem with the tv remote and the woman I spoke to indicated that I was an idiot, as well as another time when the elevator was a little difficult to find because it was behind a door that didn't resemble an elevator at all. Also, it is true that the elevator is ridiculously small...about 1.5 feet by 4 feet. Don't bother trying to take a stroller upstairs.
