No tea and coffee in the bedroom.

The croissants were the best I have ever eaten. The hotel is full of history. The staff was kind and helpful and charming. I will stay here again.

The location - staff are excellent - evening meals are good - interesting old building - tourist information - owner speaks English - also the young waiter - proper waiter service in the restaurant - I will go again!

The stairs - the staff helped me with my luggage - limited choice for the set price meals - same things every day.

The young man (?M Mor) who was on reception and later acted as the waiter was excellent. However, there were not enough staff available so that he had to double up as waiter and receptionist.

The pillows were most uncomfortable. In future we would avoid a room at the front of the hotel due to noise.

Traditional, family run. French hospitality at its best. Evening meal excellent and good value. Very convenient for visiting the old town and cathedral.

Nothing bad at all

Staff are very friendly and relaxed. Food is good and well worth the 3 star rating. The town is steeped in medieval history and great for exploring

Because the hotel was built in the 1600's the heating system struggled between being too hot (in the middle of the night to cool in the evening. It was foggy outside which spoilt the views

Excellent service from all the staff, nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic hotel in a prime location. Recommended to all.

Absolutely nothing

Very welcoming and caring staff Very old (1777ish) but a big effort has been made to make is comfortable for travellers in the 21st centruy. Wonderful views, not from the hotel, but from the ramparts nearby.

Parking was available but a bit tricky However the manager helped with this.

Warm welcome, beautiful and confortable room. Good breakfast, for only 8€ and you can ask for extra.

Be carrefull, the wifi can't be reach in every rooms.

Very traditional French. Unspoilt and not too modern

It was our 3rd time at the Banniere and it seems to improve each time. Friendly staff with a good command of English. Hotel is nice and centrally located for visiting Laon.

The hotel has period charm, and the staff are congenial and eager to help.

There is no lift, and some of the decor is tired. One of the two beds in our room was mushy.

Lovely old hotel. Perfectly placed with the old city of Laon . The staff were very couteous and friendly .

Unfortunately the centre of Laon is now at the bottom of the hill & so there is vvery little to explore

Good restaurant - (did not see much else in town). It has a garage, which is chargeable, but cheap parking close by.

The rooms, the position and the restaurant. It's easy to park around the corner- it cost 1.20 euros to park from 4.40 pm until 10am the next morning in a very safe place. The views.

Nothing wrong with the hotel but Laon is a lot more run down than our last visit.
