Friendly and personal, delicious dinner, superb location.
Lying in bed a night with a view of Basilic illuminated. Exceptional restaurant. Helpful staff. Wonderful quiet location for restful sleep.
Leaving! This is not a hotel I could find any fault with.
Delux room with huge walk in shower and stunning view of the basilica. Lovely old breakfast room and fab breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff Beautiful small town Owls hooting! Seats outside for drinks
Manageress so very nice. Staff very attentive. The only place to stay as a pilgrim to Paray le Monial
Very nice old style Hotel Central location, very nice town Very quiet, good sleep quality Very good Restaurant Friendly staff
The hotel and the town were so much more than we expected. We couldn't have been more happy.
Reasonable price, good breakfast and a fantastic view of the Bastille day fireworks. Really helpful, kind staff and a fantastic, secure bike garage (free!)
Had a bath with a shower attachment rather than a shower. I quite like baths but some people might prefer a proper shower.
Bike friendly - can park in garage on the side street. Nice dinner in the restaurant and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. WIFI free and good. A few steps away from the Basilica... right in the centre of the old town. Quiet room
Excellent value for price. A well maintained older hotel with good ambiance. Has excellent elegant restaurant. The city itself is a must see.
My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful; the room was clean, spacious, modern and had a great view of the Basilica; the WiFi worked well in our 3rd floor room; and the restaurant had reasonably-priced and tasty food with a good wine list. Breakfast was delicious as well, with many items to choose from. I didn't have a single complaint!
Loved being across the street from the Visitation chapel
I liked the kindness of the staff (which is a family running the hotel). The restaurant is also very good and not expensive.
Great location and had car paking ( extra payment)
Getting a bit old - but it's clean and ok
Third time we stop at this hotel in 3 years. Perfect location. Simple but clean place. Quiet. Good breakfast and restaurant. Friendly people. Near Chapel of the Visitation and the Basilica a must visit in Paray-le-Monial
Excellent ambience and we were made very welcome. Good restaurant and buffet breakfast. Fine location in the centre of town with views of the basilica. Very comfortable room with excellent facilities.
You need to be preparred to be awoken at 7.00 a.m. by the chiming of the basilica's bells!
This is in a small town which is very nice. The hotel and restaurant are very good. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Location Restaurant Staff Bedroom
A superbly equipped and comfortable hotel with a first class restaurant. If you can run to it splash out on one of the fabulous superior rooms.
Nothing at all
Room very large and modern Clean, had everything that you needed.
Reception area and dinning room was dated, but clean
View from bedroom window to the Abbey in the morning sun.
Hotel is "smart" but the veneer is very thin. Restauration was overly-pretentious with poorly-trained staff. Decent cooking but long delays to be served (55 minutes from order to first course). Whoever serves the wine needs to know what they are serving: they didn'T. (But the owners know that they have a captive "pilgrim" market (Compostella Route), so probably don't feel the need to improve.
Nice old hotel right in the centre of the small town. Pleasant staff and clean and tidy room. Secure free parking for my motorcycle. Short walk to get to the town's hub. Hotel food looked good but didn't partake other than the breakfast which was of a high standard. Good value for money all round.
Shower head didn't have a wall mount.
