Hotel de la Bretonnerie  

My second time at this hotel. This time the room was smaller, but with a large poster bed and a good sized bathroom. Nice decor in the room.

It's a bit annoying that they do not accept AmEx.

Great hotel, my room was larger than what I have come to expect from central Paris, the location is fantastic.

Does not accept american express I wasn't made aware of this until check out.

perfect freindly suroundings for a gay couple- many resturants and bars of good freindly atmosphere in the suranding Marais area.

Conviently located and richly decorated.

The standard rooms are small. No A/C (obviously, more relevant during the summer time)

a reading chair or small couch in the large sitting room would be nice

Room was clean, our things were not moved or disturbed during our stay, front desk was always friendly and available, great central location close to Pompidou, good restaurants and food around.

Some limited noise outside, but no major complaints.

Friendly, reasonably priced, comfortable. Great location. Decor is a bit ornate but that's all part of the fun. Lovely base for a short stay

The Hotel de la Bretonnerie is wonderful value for money. Perfectly located to explore the wonderful Marais district, the hotel is extremely comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast deliciious. I would most certainly recommend this hotel.

The lift - very claustrophobic!

Great central location within easy walk of Metro and Hop on Hop Off sight seeing bus. Abundance of restaurants and coffee bars etc. There was a safe in the room for locking away passports etc during the stay and soundproofing was excellent. Being on a reasonably quite street anyway we had no disturbance even though we overlooked the front entry.

I like to make a coffee first thing in the morning and there was no tea making facility and breakfast is not included which at the price it probably should have been.

A very casual, friendly and excellently located hotel.

The heating was a little enthusiastic and the pillows a little hard.

minor complaint. could use a coffee maker in room and a few more english speaking tv channels

staff was very cordial, arrived early my wife had a migrane.they let her lay down on the couch and rest and had a room ready for us by 1000AM. great ;location in agreat area colse to everththing.four poster bed and spotless room .look forward to returning,Merci!!

Very friendly and helpful people on front desk. The room was large and en suite was very well provided with things most travellers require. Room was kept spotlessly clean.

Was quite expensive for solo travellers-there are other hotels for much less but I think Hotel de la Bretonnerie was worth the extra cost,

Lovely old French Hotel as one imagines but modernised to retain its original character, so many of them don't Decor in Entrance lobby and bedroom delightful.Reception very welcoming and Karen (apologies if we have got the name wrong ) extremely friendly and helpful

Bit noisy but we were in the middle of Paris ! We opened the window as a bit stuffy hence the noise but do understand policy on air conditioning
