The kindness of the staff; charm and beauty of the hotel; location; style of the decor; quality of the breakfast. Not a thing. It was just wonderful! |

The hotel had character. The public spaces were quaint and generous. The room was nicely decorated in light, bright colours. Location was great for exploring the city on foot. We booked a room for 3 adults, but the room we had was really a double room with a single bed squeezed in, so that we felt like we were all in one bed! I felt it was a little expensive for what we received. |

The location is really excellent, next door to the cathedral in the city centre, the hotel building itself looks medieval and is full of character (especially the dining room) and the staff were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast and tea were accompanied by quiet classical music. Not really the hotel's fault, but all the TV programs are in French, possibly they could find 1 or 2 English channels? |

The hotel was clean, comfortable, very pretty and ideally located for sightseeing purposes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Not enough information about parking - we drove around the block (not easy) about four times before we found a suitable place. |

Because the hotel was not fully booked, they gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room. |

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was lovely, great proximity to shops & restaurants, plus the cat, mishou, I wanted to take her home!!! there was a leaking pipe behind the bath, but it didn't interfere too much with using the bathroom. |

Superb location, right behind the cathedral. Sound proofing between rooms and floors is very poor, expect to hear other guests exiting / leaving rooms and moving about their own accommodation. |

Fantastic old building, charming room, location is under the walls of Rouen Cathedral. We were forewarned by booking.com that there was no parking at the hotel, and found a reasonable public carpark a short block away. We didn't find the parking to be a problem, We barely noticed the staff - except that the receptionist greeting us had a facial piercing. Maybe that's just me being British or because we didn't spend a huge amount of time in the hotel! I think the parking situation and the number of staircases could be made plainer when booking. This is an old building, and the stairs are part of its charm, but they won't suit everyone. |

The personality of the hotel, the architecture and mixture of antique furniture. The courtyard and location/setting. The reception staff. Beds a little old and soft for me. |

Beautiful, romantic room under the roof, all in pastelblue and white. The breakfast is incredible: cold cuts, cheese, youghurt, pastries, bread, hardboiled eggs - plus a hotel kitty, called Michou. The walk-up........ But you can't have elevators in 15th century houses, I guess. |

The location was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the room was nice and comfortable. It was an old building with some impracticalities, such as no elevator to the second floor. This was only inconvienent when bringing in/out bags, however it did make things slightly more difficult. |

The location was wonderful along a cobbled passageway next to the main cathedral. A few minutes walk brought you to the town centre, which was very convenient. The hotel is lovely and old but the rooms modernised and comfortable. A little tea garden in the centre of the hotel was great to sit in and relax. WiFi is available free of charge, which is a bonus. |

Excellent location, it is very friendly and welcome, near by cathedral and shopping streets, but it was quiet. And the bed was very comfortable, and the room was so nice. I like it. |

The hotel was exactly what I wanted...historic, small and full of character in a brilliant location. We had a charming room, on the top floor (Room No 25), which had exposed historic timbers painted a very pretty forget me not blue, with white plaster between. Other walls were papered with very pretty Toile de Jouy paper. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. Our bedroom window looked out onto the former Archbishop's Palace, the Chapel of which was the location for Joan of Arc's final trial. It was a spectacular outlook. Breakfast was not included in the deal but was very good value for money. The little open air courtyard is a delightful place to have afternoon tea with a Tarte Normande. Not of any consequence. |

very central location, pretty courtyard we stayed in the family room, the balcony doors were left open after cleaning and when we entered the distinct smell of cat urine was evident. The double bed dipped in the middle so uncomfortable. Car parking 300m away from the hotel. |
