Hôtel de la Cité – Concorde Lyon  

Perfect!!!

Very new and modern, extremely comfortable rooms (with windows that open up widely so you can get fresh air, or use the AC). All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant without fault and free wifi throughout which was great. The location is perfect if you just want to relax as the beautiful city park with lake is just across the road where we spent a lot of time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights here and were very comfortable. There are buses into the city centre (city centre is not walking distance) and to a nearby shopping mall and there is a bike hire place outside the hotel too. The hotel is located in a new purpose built hotel/restaurant/apartment complex called Cité Internationale so if you are driving, note that the GPS may not get you to the right location for the hotel (as we found). You can follow the street signs to Cité Internationale, then be sure to go to the P2 parking building along the far end. This hotel is located at that far end (northern) of the whole complex. We would definitely stay here again for its comfort and quality.

Room service breakfast - just don't do it ($$$$$$ and not worth it at all - the only negative for us on our last morning).

Comfort business hotel due to last minute booking price has been increased from 98 to 140 E which is not corresponds to the suggested room level. Pure business hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff,easy bus links to town in 10 - 15 mins for tourist , shopping visit. Would stay again and recommend to friends

The staff was very nice. The park Tete D'Or is right behind the hotel and there are several restaurants and a movie theater in the complex. Once I figured out the buses, it was super easy to take the C1 to the train station Lyon Part Dieu, and C5 into the center city.The included breakfast was very good,simple but a lot to eat, that was my favorite part.

While the bus is convenient, the hotel is a distance from where most of the city is. While there is a bike rental stand right outside the hotel, it only takes creditcards with the chip inside it. Had it worked for me, the park by the Rhone would have been a great place for a bike ride.

Great location. Possibility of renting bikes. Public transport very good too to go the main station or to the city center. Good breakfast although expensive (22 Euros). Expect 90% businessmen/women in this hotel as there is conference / exhibition center and business park just around the hotel at the Cite Internationale.

check in was long at peak time. Only 1 staff at the desk which seems poor for a 4 stars hotel. Bedrooms fairly small for the price. No coffee/tea facilities.

Evertthing about the hotel was good the staff in all ares of the hotel, the modern furnishings and spotlessly clean. Location with excellent transport to City centre. A huge park in walking distance provided a very relaxing Sunday stroll and there is a zoo and botanical hot houses very interesting. If you are attending a concert at the amphitheatre this hotel is so close its perfect. Well done to the staff of the Hotel de la Cite Concorde Lyon.

Hotel was modern. There was secure parking for a fee and a tram into the centre of Lyon. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and modern. Great place to stay if visiting the city.

Very nice and clean room, excilent connection to the train station and town.

No fitness

The hotel is in a beautiful setting with the river at the front and the spacious park behind. We had a fifth floor room with a glorious view of the river. The room was exceptional & had all the added extras you would expect from a luxury hotel. The staff were most helpful and freindly.

The efficient and friendly reception staff. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Modern, new and well equipped rooms.

Breakfast room closing at 9:00am!!!!! - Hotel a bit far from the city center - Lack of facilities (no fitness club).
