The space, the location, the reception friendliness.

Frugal breakfast, cheap door frames, poor insulation.

This was our third time at this Hotel so we knew what to expect; we go for the wine festival at Savigny-Le-Beaune just down the road. Everything was as we expected, generally fine. We have contemplated staying in the ground floor Garden rooms next time overlooking the car park because they seem much nicer, though obviously much dearer.

For my wife and l the bed was too small, we had asked for twins because l am of a very large size so "normal" beds are a little too small for us in general. The same could have been said for the shower as the controls were placed in a position that made it very easy to alter the flow of the water when you moved, regardless of your size! However these we NOT problems that really bothered us but ones that possibly need addressing if you have issues with them.

Full of history and character; very comfortable and tastefully decorated; central but quiet location; ideal base to explore Beaune and surrounding area.

The wifi is very slow and still doesn't reach the garden rooms

Burgundy District. Architecture. Day trips to ancient buildings and churches. Cultural apps were plentiful. Very good wine if you looked hard

Can't say I didn't like anything. Restaurant apps were a little weird . No early dining, all after 7 pm. At the better restaurants.

The excellent english-speaking young man at the reception was extremly polite, efficient and friendly, he made a great first impression. The rooms are warm and stily, although a bit smaller than I expected.

The breakfast is very poor, the bread wasn´t fresh, and there wasn´t any cheese although you´re in France!!!

Excellent location and very good staff. Rooms were good and the ease of parking was an added bonus. Fresh orange juice for breakfast.

The location was good with just a short walk to the center of Beaune. The bathrooms were OK.

The décor of the hotel was very old, with a slightly unpleasant smell. Our rooms were up several flights of stairs and the staff were not very helpful. The rooms were tired and the beds uncomfortable.

We have stayed several times before and always find the hotel friendly, efficient, comfortable, and we like the historic ambiance. This time we stayed in the winter and the well-heated room was a big bonus. Also, the wifi is important to us. It will be out choice in the future, as well.

Shower could be improved and please put non-skid pads in the bath, plus a hand rail. Thank you.

Rustic accomodation and great location

Location walking distance from the historical part of town. Staff friendly. Room clean but small. Bathroom was a good size.

No lift. Room was very small.

The city center, railway station, restaurants, etc., was all close by and walking distance. The location is very convenient.

it has quite a unique character, all ups and downs and ins and outs, very fun. my husband had a crack in his false teeth and the staff went out of their way to try to help us get them fixed, wonderful of them.

on only thing and it was minor was that wifi didn't make it to our room. We into the lounge to get service, which was very comfortable and a pleasure to use

Central location 5 minute walk into the Old Town. Central base location for exploring the Cote d'Or and wine country. Quiet back garden area for relaxing, reading, and sipping wine.

My room faced the street so was a bit noisy, but I always bring ear plugs so not much of an issue.

Really lovely venue and one of the more competitively priced hotels in Beaune. The room was a nice double room, clean, and the hotel as a whole had definitely an older, classy French rustic style. The hotel staff were particularly friendly and helpful, helping us secure our bikes in the bike room and suggesting places to go. Facilities were very close at hand and close to the centre of Beaune.

The location of the hotel is good. Easy to get to from the train station and close to the town centre. Nice hotel with small garden area out the back to sit and relax. Good value for money.

Hotel was very central for access to shops & resaurants. Breakfast was very well served & food of good quality. Excellent rooms facing garden & car park, very handy. Nice garden.
