The small bar of the hotel for a friendly drink. Fantastic location right in the centre of Riquhwhir. Car Park. Friendly Staff.
Basic rooms, but clean and cheery.
Right in the middle of the old town.
The parking lot is tucked back behind the property and the hotel itself is smack in the middle of the old city. Have courage and drive through the stone arch and along the cobbled street. Magnificent old town with postcard views everywhere.
The stairs to the room were steep and everything was "old school" but we were prepared for that. WiFi did not work. Try to avoid obvious busy times as this place is popular and can be very crowded..
Cosy and comfortable
Location was great. Room was comfortable. Shower was great.reception Desk friendly.
No lift so having to carry luggage up winding stairs.
Quaint, quiet at night, helpful staff. Parking alongside for a small daily charge. Interesting beamed room with old furniture.
What a great little picturesque town. This spot is so quaint, right in the middle of everything, so convenient to the route du vin. My sister and I loved that the vineyards grew right up to the edge of the town. Great location, very comfortable, large room and bathroom, very personable staff who spoke perfect English. I would highly recommend this town and hotel; I would stay here again, if in the area. We didn't eat here, but enjoyed drinks outside before dinner.
We enjoyed everything. We are easy!
Staying here is like living in a fairy tale. Winding stone steps, stenciled walls, hand-painted old wardrobe. Great location, too.
we had booked at first for two nights... we ended up staying for five nights!!!!! lovely place, in an ancient traditional house with the most romantic rooms ever, super modern bathrooms (with great shower facilities!), private parking facilities, and cozy shared areas (bar space, tables, etc) available to guests. the rooms and the bathrooms and the whole hotel were very clean. most of all, the staff has been among the most helpful and kind ever, they really went a long way to help us, and every time they did that with professionality, courtesy, and a big smile!!!
Traditional room like a nice mountain cottage. Located at the center of the village. Spacious parking space next to the hotel.
Steep stairway can be difficult for some people.
It was expensive compared to some other places that seemed to be available as well
Clean, comfortable big rooms great location
The breakfast is horrible, I would definitely recommend getting your breakfast somewhere else.
Historic building in old walled town Ample parking Friendly and helpful staff directed us to nearby restaurants
This hotel is perfect for those visiting by car as it has private parking right in the centre of the town.
Town and buildings, great breakfast
Too many tourists, breakfast not included in room price, town prices reflect tourist interest, went to Colmar instead for supper.
Located in the center of the beautifull town of Riquewihr. Large parking at the hotel premises. Breakfast was ok.
we booked next day mistakenly but the hotel staff arranged the similar room at the same price without any cancellation charge. hotel is located nearby main street. parking lot is just 4EUR a day.
It was all good. And parking was ample and good.
Wifi not working.
We had a fantastic time and will absolutely be back for another visit in the future!!
The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the village. The room was simply furnish, but had charm. The staff were very helpful, & free wifi.
location, quaintness, large carpark
nothing - except the wifi wasn't working
Location The charm and feel The staff We did the train tour around the village which i recommend
Parking is next to the hotel but you should call before hand to get instructions on how to get in, it is forbidden to drive in there but no one seems to pay attention to the signs.
