Located in the countryside, so very quiet. Has a golf course a spa facility... Good value.

If you plan a long stay, it is fairly far from the next village. You need a means of transport to reach the place.

Friendly staff

Horrible music everywhere lobby,bar and restaurant. Spa closed too early and opens too late!

Spacious room, clean and with tea and coffee making facilities and quietly located.

Staff not too friendly - especially if you ask for an extra blanket - which you may well have to as the room heating is v unpredictable - esp in the mezzanine rooms (heater in the roof so cooks the upper beds only); also v expensive 'grown up' restaurant so poor for kids and little local alternative. Additional charges too so quite hefty for breakfast or for use of the spa.

The hotel is in a unique place if you want to relax and enjoy the national forrest Orient as also the lake. Pet friendly.Dont forget to visit NIGLOLAND if you have kids as also the outlet shopping in Troyes.

-Noise from other rooms. -Expensive breakfast for what it was. -Was told there was no available table for dinner, was then phoned by reception to say a table was available at 7pm....there were at least 10 tables free.

Spacious rooms

A perfect stop over while driving from Avoriaz to Calaise. The family room (sleeps 4, 2 double beds) was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. The spa facilities were an added bonus. I was able to book and relax in the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. I believe the spa closed at 8pm and opens at 9am so plenty of time to fit it in on an overnight stay. The pool, sadly, is closed in the winter, a great disappointment for my 5 yr old. They are very family friendly. Buffet breakfast was extra but well worth the money. They did not charge for my dtr. The hotel is not far from the main motorway and easy to find (if u have sat nav). We would stay here again next time. Troyes (only a few miles away) appears to have a large discounted shopping outlet. It appears the locals go there for their shopping spree as well. I will find time to have a look round Troyes next time. Also, the Champagne region is only a short distance south, so easily accessible. It is also well placed to travel to Reims to visit the Cathedral and Champagne houses. However, nearly everywhere was closed on a Sunday. So, best to explore on a Saturday.

We stayed here on a stopover to the Alps, good price and room was a good size for a family of 4, kids loved the upstairs bedroom.

The hotel felt "out of season", swimming pool closed and everything felt a bit grey and tired, happy to stay again but my expectations would be different, somewhere to put your head at a fair price. Location was quite far from main road but thats my fault, I would have preferred to stay just of the motorway.

Very Limited and reduced selection at the restaurant

The bar area had a Lego unit to keep the youngsters occupied. The restaurant all though simple was very good and convenient.

We did request a cot with the booking which wasn't available however we didn't need it. The bathrooms are a bit dated and well worn and would benefit from some modernisation.

well placed for a short stay between coast and alps

Great for all the family. We had a family room and loved it. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff were extremely good and we were able to have our dog with us. The restaurant was very good and again the staff were very good.

A very pleasant surprise after a long and tedious drive. The hotel is a bit out of the way - but with the help of SatNav - wasn't difficult to find. The room was spacious and comfortable. Will definitely recommend to others - and will use again

The room was cold and the restaurant primarily with a buffet service for all courses was more like a staff canteen. We expected more from France.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Dinner choice limited but food good. Convenient location for an overnight stop when travelling to or from the Alps. Recommended.
