Hôtel De La Loge  

The hotel was lovely, full of charm and right in the centre of the old town. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Decor was a bit dated

The room was comfortable, staff were very nice and the location was ideal.

There was a very pervasive smell of petrol or kerosene which eventually started tio make me feel sickly. I mentioned this to a member of staff who tried to explain that this was due to a new plant which had been placed in the foyer. This wasn'#t the case, the smell was there before the plant appeared. Definitely some kind of petroleum smell.

Great view from the bedroom window onto the Plaza below. Also spacious and clean. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Could be noisy because of vicinity to the Plaza e.g. businesses, street activity.

Only stay if you can get a room that does not face the street - there is an inner plant room. It is the nosiest hotel from the street that I have stayed in, in 60 years.

The location was ideal situated in a queit side street within the old town, 7 or restaurants within a 2 minute walk and close to all the shops.Museums, art galleries and other monuments were within easy walking distance. The hosts and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.The room was large and the owners had used period furniture and imagination, the bedside table was an old tea chest, to create a pleasantly quirky atmosphere.The breakfasts were limited but adequate and fresh.

Great location in a lovely old part of town, close to places of interest, helpful staff, lovely old building with quirky features and decor, rooms and bathrooms very clean, beds very comfortable and everything worked and simple to operate - the air-conditioning was the icing on the cake. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. This hotel was a most welcome surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Great location, round the corner from lots of restaurants and short walk to the main tourist sites and canal. Walk to train or bus station easy. And very easy to get the shuttle bus from across the canal next to the large department store to the airport which links in with depature/arrival times. Simple rooms very clean and all usual ammenties - free wifi, tv, AC. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in quite strictly is 2pm but will look after your bags. Great value for money

The location was brilliant the rooms were lovely the bed was the best nights sleep i have ever had.Caroline on reception was really nice and friendly and very helpful a credit to the hotel.

The breakfast could do with a bit more selection like eggs cheese and meat.

Very authentic, very central. Clean, air conditioned rooms, friendly staff who spoke English. A great hotel experience which we would recommend to any visitor to Perpignan.

No car park but understandable as it is in the centre of Perpignan.

It is a lovely hotel steeped in history and a perfect location for a stay in Perpignan. It has huge charm and the rooms are very comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town, just by the Castillet. You simply step out the door to the restaurants, coffee shops and the shopping area. Buses to the beach and to the airport are only minutes walk. The hotel is very quaint and oldy-worldy. Don't expect modern decor or a slick business-style hotel! Our room was huge and was very clean as was the bathroom. We were on the second floor and although we were in the middle of the busy part of town, we didn't hear a sound from the surrounding streets. Great air-conditioning and TV in room. The staff were really lovely and so helpful. They even helped us in getting another hotel around the corner - we wanted to stay a few more nights in La Loge but they were fully booked!

We enjoyed our stay at this small family-style hotel. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, shops etc. Older style but very quaint and well presented. We had a triple room which was a great size and very comfortable particularly as there were only two of us.

We travelled with friends to this hotel by rental car. We would never have been able to find it due to its location up little narrow streets. Had to park car and walk in the end to find the location. Then had to re-find car and park it in a local parking station (Wilsons) and drag bags through to the hotel. This was the only downside but a big one at the time.

I really liked the staff and their sense of humour and commitment to ensuring we had a pleasant stay. We both enjoyed the breakfast and the location was very central.

I would have liked to walk among the plants on the outside terrace on the first floor but it was also nice to admire them from the windows.

The hotel was elegantly furnished, with a charming internal courtyard, and our room was comfortable and a good size, as well as clean and sympathetically arranged. The rate of €65/night (without breakfast) was very reasonable, and the location unbeatable, while the staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay.
