We arrived by train and one of the locals gave us a lift to the hotel which was lovely. There had been some confusion with our 2 night booking (my misunderstanding more than anything) however we were accommodated on the first night and the owners organised a room for us in Sancerre for the next. Beautiful place to stay and excellent hosts. Thanks very much |

Nice quiet spot on the river to use as a base for touring locally. Choice of restaurants within walking distance allowed for some wine sampling in the evenings. |

the welcome and staff friendliness were very good Although the room looked good, the bed in particular was very uncomfortable. The storage space especially on the top of surfaces was very limited. The drawer space was unusable because the drawers were very difficult to open. |

A very quiete hotel in a lovely position by the Loire. Caged birds with young in the breakfast room may upset some people! We found it very "French". The rooms are individually themed and decorated. "Provence" has a sloping tiled roof on the ensuite bathroom which made the shower/bath cramped for a tall man. The "river view" that we paid a £20 premium for was marred by the restaurant across the road and the smell of cooking from the kitchen extractor system. |

Quiete and calm, friendly helpful staff. Near to Sancerre and a selection of restaurants in this village. All very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Pretty location next to La Loire. Fussy theme in the bedroom (safari style) but did not matter when lights are out . |
