Hotel De La Paix

Excellent central location for visiting the city

Although the central location is good for exploring, the nearest parking is quite expensive (approx 15 euros overnight) there is no air conditioning and it is quite noisy with the windows open especially when the various festivals during the summer include bands etc. during the evening.

Very helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located for easy access to the central part of the city.

Everything was in walking distance

The room was at the front of the hotel and we could not leave the window open because of the noise in the street.

It was very clean, very French unlike so many hotels that could be in any country. Every one was frindly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable but a bit old fashioned, which added to the charm

The convenience of the hotel's location

The lobby smelt of sewage on the first day!!!! But then the smell disappeared.

Location is great, in the center! two minuets walk from the main train station, next to the grand square of the city, very close to the high streets! excellent

Location. I was able to make trips back to hotel just to put down my shopping bags.

Room was dim and there was a strange smell to the room.

No proper shower in my room. Only a bath with a shower attachment that you had to hang on the wall. No shower curtain so water all over the floor. Not very safe.

The spacious room and very friendly staff. Location was perfect - very central but not noisy, even though I was at the front of the hotel.

Breakfast was rather dull, but in France, it usually is.

Great location, easy to walk to everything. Easy to walk to the hotel from the train station. Clean, neat and comfortable.

Bathroom was well done but I would have liked a shower curtain.
