Fully renovated a year ago, the hotel is set in a typical Parisian building close to the Eiffel Tower, St Germain district and Montparnasse train station. Hotel De La Paix features a big fireplace in the reception and beautiful breakfast room with its own patio. Parking is available about 2 minutes away from the hotel. The room was clean, the furniture was not worn like in other hotels where the furniture looked like 50 years old. The unity of style - carpet, wallpaper and furniture - was comfortable for eyes. The bathroom has a nice and modern design, it's clean and spacious with bathtub, well equiped (2 types of showers, hairdryer). Bed linen were clean and smiled fresh. Overall, it's the most pleasant experience I had for a 3 star hotel in Paris, for a good price.

Location: only two streets away from a subway station (Boucicaut). The Eiffel Tour is on walking distance (about 15 min.) Staff: very friendly. The room: clean and cosy. Bit small, but that is to be expected in Paris. Comfortable bed! Bathroom: bath + a rain shower. No disappointments. Like I said, our room was a bit small, but that is to be expected in Paris. We didn't mind at all.

This was an over-priced and cramped hotel, offering few of the facilities that one would expect for €150 per night, excluding breakfast.

Staff was very helpful and ready to answer and assist in all questions.Rooms were typical of a european hotel, on the small side, bedding a little worn, bathroom was completely updated and modern, lovely balcony w/french doors off of room. Beautiful lobby. Internet access available in w/our computer for free or in hotel lobby there is a public computer for free. Located in residential area but close to Metro and easy to get in to visit all Paris icons.Highly reccommend.

We stayed at the apartment near the hotel. The apartment was very well furnished and was able to sleep four people, two in the bedroom and two on sofa beds in the living room. The apartment was very well situated in a residential area with nearby supermarket and bakery - which was very handy for fresh crossiants and baguettes! A 10 minute walk to the metro to take you into the centre of Paris. The apartment had everything in it to make a very pleasant stay. The only really thing to fault was the layout of the apartment, there is a separate toilet with no hand basin, just off the kitchen, which was apart from the shower room. But we got used to it!

Very nice hotel, with good comfort. A very good place to stay A little far away from city centre. If girls alone could be a little bit dangerous to come back at night as the bus/subway from the ity centre was 4/5 blocks away (unless you're willing to pay for a taxi, of course)

Located in a quiet area, close to subway station, so you can go fast anywhere. Cleanliness excellent, the beds are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. We have not had breakfast at the hotel (so I do not know how it is), but we had many alternatives nearby. Fully functional Internet. Room surface, a little small for three people but this is not a major inconvenience because if you are a tourist in Paris, you will stay in the room just to sleep and wash. The absence of a refrigerator.

Close to the Porte de Versailles conference centre and you can walk to Eiffel Tower. Lovely renovated bathroom with powerful shower. Small space for breakfast - had to queue for a table and ended up sharing. Croissant not fresh each morning.

The Hotel de la Paix is a clean, comfortable hotel located in a quiet neighborhood in Paris. Bakery, grocery/supermarkets nearby as well as some restaurants. Subway within walking distance as well as the bus. Major attractions were easy to get to from the hotel using the subway system. Definitely would stay there again.

Flexibility and easiness of dealing with small issues. Not the most pleasant street to walk through from the metro (but not that bad either).
