Hôtel De La Paix  

The Hotel de la Paix is a clean, comfortable hotel located in a quiet neighborhood in Paris. Bakery, grocery/supermarkets nearby as well as some restaurants. Subway within walking distance as well as the bus. Major attractions were easy to get to from the hotel using the subway system. Definitely would stay there again.

Friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It was close to two different metro stations.

Breakfast wasn´t included in the price.

off course the staff was cooperative and well behaved and helped generously and kindheartedly .the room was clean and well facilitated.As I had my two young children so the room was spacious enough for the stay.The surrounding environment was silent at night and one could sleep comfortable.

Finding of the hotel was quite difficult.when we got off the train at Porte de Versailles as this address was given then it was really difficult to find Rue Duraton to reach exactly to the hotel.there was only one English channel of Euro News on TV.

Location: only two streets away from a subway station (Boucicaut). The Eiffel Tour is on walking distance (about 15 min.) Staff: very friendly. The room: clean and cosy. Bit small, but that is to be expected in Paris. Comfortable bed! Bathroom: bath + a rain shower.

No disappointments. Like I said, our room was a bit small, but that is to be expected in Paris. We didn't mind at all.

Staff was very helpful and ready to answer and assist in all questions.Rooms were typical of a european hotel, on the small side, bedding a little worn, bathroom was completely updated and modern, lovely balcony w/french doors off of room. Beautiful lobby. Internet access available in w/our computer for free or in hotel lobby there is a public computer for free. Located in residential area but close to Metro and easy to get in to visit all Paris icons.Highly reccommend.

A little far away from city centre. If girls alone could be a little bit dangerous to come back at night as the bus/subway from the ity centre was 4/5 blocks away (unless you're willing to pay for a taxi, of course)

Quite close to the metro station and very clean (both room and bathroom)

The room I was given was too small, barely enough space to move around.

The bathroom was new with a very good shower

the rooms are very small. The beds are small. There is no mini-bar and no complimentary bottled water.

Cleanliness of bathroom and room. Bathroom is new, small but comfortable. Good well working internet connection.

Close to the Porte de Versailles conference centre and you can walk to Eiffel Tower. Lovely renovated bathroom with powerful shower.

Small space for breakfast - had to queue for a table and ended up sharing. Croissant not fresh each morning.

Flexibility and easiness of dealing with small issues.

Not the most pleasant street to walk through from the metro (but not that bad either).

The location is great-a real taste of inner Paris in a very quaint neighbourhood- yet cafes, pastry shops and the metro are right beside. The room I stayed in was clean and neat, the ac worked and though room was basic, it was well done up. Also, I now know how misleading criticism by other travellers can be. All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone.

The price was a bit on the high side-but then it was season and exhibition time. The staff could be more pleasant, though they were not rude. A coffee maker and rubbish bin in the room would be excellent.
