The staff were excellent, one guy in particular (unfortunately who's name escapes me) was really helpful and told us some great places to go that suited us perfectly. The metro station is a 30 second walk away and there is also a fantastic park less than 5 minutes away. Last but not least the Boulangerie/Patiserie directly across the road is excellent! You can hear the metro pass underneath the hotel (and we were on the 4th floor). We actually didn't mind this but some people might. Although the bathroom is of a good size the seperate wc is very cramped. Any of these issues though are soon forgotten about once you're in the very comfy bed.

Excellent location in the heart of undoubtedly the most beautiful and interesting cities on earth. Metro station immediately outside the hotel provides links to all attractions, shops, restaurants etc. A Clean, well decorated hotel, manned by friendly staff with excellent English. Small room, but suitable for tourists and at a fair price.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless. Small continental breakfast seemed a poor value at 11 euros.

Great location, very friendly staff, especially Samantha and Jerome. It's hard to find fault! Perhaps the shower is a little small?

The staff were impeccably patient and friendly. The hotel was welcoming and relaxing while retaining French ambience and authenticity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to other New Zealanders travelling to Paris.

To be honest.... I can't really find anything I liked about the hotel. It was a room, with a bed, which I suppose is ok. Oh.... the tvs in the room, if you are tech savvy, can be altered so that programs can be played in the original language, thus opening up their use for none French speaking residents. 1: We were initially situated on the ground floor, next to the street. It was warm there, the air conditioning was not wonderful, and because we were at street level it was impossible to open a window. Ergo, it was too warm to sleep. Also.. the room was very.. very small! 2: We changed rooms for the remainder of our trip, and ended up on floor 4, which did indeed enable us to open a window. However, the air conditioning was still pretty awful, and i was still unable to sleep. In 4 nights there I think I managed a grand total of 10-12 hours. 3: The new room was also tiny. 4: The bed sheets had holes in. 5: There was no kettle, so no facility to make a drink within the room.

A lovely little hotel with individually decorated rooms - such a change from the average 'chain' hotel, where you could be anywhere. The staff were always friendly and willing to help - they booked a dinner table for us before we arrived when we emailed asking for a recommendation, and offered to book airport transfers without even being asked. My room was spotless, and had a shower rather than bath as I had requested. Yes its a little out of the centre, and yes you can hear the rumble of the Metro, but neither of those things were a bother, and I would definitely stay there again. The only minor thing wrong - the bed could certainly do with a new mattress. Mine had two definite channels in it, and was too lumpy and too soft. (if it can be both!)

Warm and friendly reception. The decor was charming and the room was adorable. Very accommodating hotel. Right next to the Metro station, literally within steps. The location can be a tricky trekk into the city center if you are not fond of the transit system.

This hotel is very very helpful to American, English speaking guests. The girl at the desk when we arrived took care of arranging an airport shuttle for us, suggested what our options were for a quick sight seeing tour of Paris. The room was very comfortable and airy. Free Wi-Fi, great guide in English and French that is very useful about the neighborhood and is very personalized, not the usual hotel advertising vehicle posing as a travel guide. The recommendations we followed were all great. The tiniest elevator in the world! Like a coffin almost. But at least they had one!

You could feel the subway passing underneath the hotel. If you're dead tired after a whole day of traveling, you won't care... You'll fall asleep anyway. But otherwise, it will bother you.

A nice, clean hotel with excellent access to the Metro. Basic and no frills but staff were very friendly and the front desk personnel all spoke English. Plenty of food/drink options within walking distance of the hotel. Due to closeness of the Metro, subway cars could be heard at night (but very faintly and nothing to overly disturb sleep).

Staff were friendly, room and bathroom clean. Rooms are very small, the bathroom and toilet could fit into a closet. As our stay was short it was managable but if we stayed any longer than a couple of nights it could have been a bit claustrophobic.

Clean and rather spacious room (compare to Paris standards), Nice bed, free internet, friendly staff, hotel just beside metro station which made it easy to reach different places, Nice bakery in front of the hotel The hotel was a bit far form center but then again it was much cheaper than a similar hotel in the center and the Metro made it easy. Overall a good hotel taking to account the price. We will surely come back next time. The stares and the hallways carpet need to be renovated. Occasionally bad sewage smell in the hall ways but the room was OK. The elevator was tiniest one I have ever been to, practical but not good for people with little claustrophobia.

Nice hotel, good location (for our needs, near to Palais Omnisport Bercy), 100 m to metro station, in 15 min you'll be at Ile de la Citè. As other visitors said, you can hear metro trains (5.30 to 24.00) and bathroom is "minimal" for the price. Anyway, not a problem if you stay for one or two nights, think about it if your stay is longer.

Very frandful portier. Lovely and romantic room. Feels and looks like france style hotel. Close to metro, cafes, restorans. You can find a nice baceries and street markets on the same street quite close to the hotel. There are no direct metro line straigt fron the center but it's quite easy and fast interconnection between the lines.
