The location was excellent, near restaurants and the water. 24h front desk with friendly staff who were helpful in providing maps and tips for dining and called a taxi for me in the morning.
Couldn't get hot water from the tap or the shower. Couldn't log on to the wi-fi either, which was password-free - front desk didn't know what to to do.
Right in the centre of everything.
No tea making facilities.
Location is excellent, reastaurants nearby are good and walking distance to most of the needs.
Wifi was not working and staff did not seem helpful to try to solve problems. Gave us a free breakfast, but only one, and could not negotiate properly Breakfast was really poor, for its value. Rooms are small, but OK for French standards, there is no fridge in the room, so could not store food. Shower was a mess, there is no door and makes the bathroom all wet.
Location, easy for shops, restaurants and bars.
Seeing the washing being done while in reception. Noisy laminate flooring on corridors, fire doors being propped open, very dark stairs to climb, no markings to show where lift is.
lack of internet
Good convenient location.
But don't expect too much, it is pretty basic.
Location good for the port and the castle as well as the restaurants. Although no private parking there was parking available behind the hotel - essential as we had a dog with us.
Difficult to reach due to tramlines and one-way streets.
The hotel was central. The tram service was outside the hotel. There are shops and restaurants nearby.
There was no dedicated parking so it was pot luck if you found a space. The room was very cramped for the four of us. The room was very hot because there was no air conditioning. There was a balcony facing the front that was secured by means of a metal roller blind which we kept closed because of our young children.
the welcome, the calm, the pleasur to be in the center of the city, just near the water
Staff, location, breakfast.
The lady on reception was very helpfull & charming - great clean rooms - great location
The magnificent view over the river and openable floor to ceiling window.
Wasn't sure my bicycle would be safe in unlocked publicly accessible area on ground floor, but it was fine as it turned out.
Wifi a bit weak
the hotel was really smelly, a bad smell coming from the sewers and spreading everywhere. In the meeting I had the day after I was scared that my clothes were impregnated by the same smelly. I had to switch on the heater and open the window during the nights to get the air changed in my room.
quiet and clean room
foul odour in the elevator
Nice view Quiet on the back of the hotel
I would have liked more pillows on the bed Bedside light wasn't working tea and coffee making facilities would be good
excellent location clean and comfortable
couldn't connect wifi
The hotel was right in the centre of town and very convenient for pubs, restaurants etc. Room compact but clean. Bathroom modern with great shower. Excellent value. Reception staff very helpful.
No tea making facilities, but that seems to be the norm in France. Us English like our tea :-))
The hotel is positioned perfectly to enjoy the best parts of Brest. The rooms are clean and spacious for this type of hotel and budget. The staff at reception are helpful and cheerful. Decor and atmosphere add the experience.
Rear of the hotel.
perfect value-for-money ratio, perfect location, helpful staff
Weak wifi signal at 4th floor. Only 1 Electric plug in the room
