The staffs are warm-hearted and kind. The hotel is in the center of the city, so it`is convenient to go to restaurant, take the bus, go shopping, of course, sightseeing. The price is reasonable for students. Because of being in the center of the city, it was a little noisy at night. |

The location could not be better for a visit to La Rochelle. The continental breakfast is reasonable. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. As with many French hotels of a certain age, the is no sound isolation between the rooms. Toilet shower small but functional and clean. |

Perfect for a few nights as the hotel was situated right on the port. Staff helpful. Rooms clean but small. Breakfast fine and served at table.A really good stay! |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Greeted us each time we came in and out by name and spoke english to us, and listened to our poor french. We had room 37 which was lovely with a balcanoy and double glazed doors which eliminated the outside noise. Loved the location as one could sit in bed and watch the world go by. Unfortunately, the bathroom was very small with very bad layout but very clean and had maid service each day. |

Location and facilities were appropriate to this class of hotel. Very well located in relation to the port. Supplement for view over port well worthwhile. |

Great spot ideal for exploring the town/port. Unfortunately arrived when new University term started. The evening was like "Mardi Gra". Extremly noisy well into the morning, 4.00am. Police involved Fire dept involved, a boat was set on frie in the Harbour . Spoke to the Hotel, who seemed uninteressed. Blamed eveyone else. |

Great location for all the action at the harbourfront. No parking next to hotel but easy to find parking in town within 5 mins walk. Room was clean. Good value. Bit noisy late night/early morning due to location, but only a problem for light sleepers. Shower was tiny. Rooms not huge but adequate. |

Very central to all of La Rochelle's evening entertainment. Bathroom was tight, (shower room & toilet). Also, no air conditioning meant that we had to sleep with the windows open, and due to the noise from the crowds outside, sleeping could be difficult at times. |

Brilliant location in a beautiful town. The hotel was lovely but the rooms were in need of redecorating and the bathroom was very cramped. |

The staff could not have been more helpful, and were very welcoming. Wonderful location and views. There was limited dedicated parking and spaces on the street were not easy to find, but the staff worked hard to make this possible. |

Simple comfortable hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great location on the port (but this means it could be a little noisy - though good insulating windows kept it manageable). Couldn't get the chairs out onto the terrace - it would have been nice to sit admiring the view. |

Near the harbour and the town The noise - racing cars and bikes; loud shouting all still taking place at 4am - kept the family awake. Not the hotel's fault but our experience |

The location of this hotel is outstanding. Our room was very well soundproofed so you had the benefit of the views without the noise at night. The bathrom facilities were very cramped and the room really needs air conditioning as the alternative is to open the window which then makes it noisy |

The daytime and evening reception staff were very nice to interact with and the house maid was very polite and made you feel very comfortable to be leaving your luggage with while she was cleaning the room. When there was a misunderstanding or mix up the person who gave the impretion of being in charge gave a brief word and decided to leave rather than keeping near by making you feel more like a valued customer. |

Excellent central position overlooking the harbour. Harbour view rooms have small balcony and are worth the extra. |
