Hotel was in a great position. Stayed for a week. Had no problems with staff or noise from other guests. Lots of Stairs - no problem but I have a freshly reconstructed knee! Room was on an incredible slant, hence so was the bed. Very hot room with windows closed, but very noisy with them open. |

the booking.com website does not say that shared showeroom is only available 8:30-20:30. So, sometimes I could not take a shower because of the shower period. |

The only desirable thing about this hotel was its location. It was easy to walk to almost all tourist attractions in Paris. Nothing else was desirable. Bad hotel. I have a long list including: 1) bathroom facilities: no toilets in the rooms and you have to pay to take a shower down the hallway; 2) some members of the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful; 3) to say the rooms were basic is an understatement... It felt more like a hostel; 4) even the location was a little sketchy... As it was near a slew of sex shops; 5) it was marginally clean... |

Was clean, very good location, everything near by walk and very near metro station, good price. I think everything was fair enought for price of the hotel. |

close to main tourist attractions. comfortable enough for short stay very hot in the room. Though noise from street was blocked by windows, noise from the rest of the hotel was unfortunately still loud and clear! |

Valuae for money. Central position - based on the street full of restaurants, cafes, fast food, close to the Notre Dame. New and clean bathroom. Helpful hotel staff, english speaking, 24 hours desk service. Ratio service/money excellent for Paris. View from our room at the backyard |

The location of the hotel is its best feature (being very close to Georges Pompidou Centre, Les Halles, Louvre and Notre Dame), along with the very friendly and very helpful staff. The room was basic but spotlessly clean with a TV. Would definitely stay there again. |

The location was great for us, it was very central and very close to the Les Halls Subway Station. We did get a room with a shower, however it was a portable shower but it worked okay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable as far as "one star" hotels go. The front entry looks nothing like the picture in the listing, there is no longer a store front but instead you enter into what looks like an alley. The entry way smells like urine and is very dirty. This is a "one star" hotel, it is no frills and very basic, as long as you are aware of that you will not be disappointed. |

It is a simple hotel, however its location is very central, which is pleasant. You are at 5 minutes on foot from the centre Pompidou and a lot of restaurants, cafés, pubs and other facilities. The window could not be closed easily, therefore it was often cold in the room, furthermore we went there in April, so this was quite unpleasant. |

The room was comfortable, with a nice window facing the courtyard. The staff was pretty helpful with a welcome map of Paris (very useful) and advice and help with directions. The hotel was very easy to find. Even though I was in a non-smoking room, it often smelled like cigarette smoke, even in the sheets (I don't know if this was because of general smoking in the hotel and/or the city (of which there's a lot of both) or someone smoking in my room when they were cleaning it). Also, the shower cost 2.5 Euro per day, and they don't even give you shampoo, which is a bit annoying. |

it was very close to a Metro stop and a good location for spending a day walking a loop if sites in Paris Bathrooms not in the room. You can request a room with the shower ensuite, but not the toilet |

The staff were very polite and welcoming, and they all seemed to understand English. We stayed in the attic room, but it was clean and comfortable. Also, it is located nearby Etienne Marcel metro station, so we had no trouble getting around Paris. The toilet/shower plumbing was a little weak, but it was tolerable. |
