24hr check in is useful The shower was only available between 8:30am and 8:30pm which meant I didn't get a shower the whole time I was there as I had a busy schedule. The window didn't shut properly which meant the room was cold. There was one long skinny pillow provided for the double bed. Internet connectivity was variable.

It was clean. My floor was quiet. There was no socket in the room bar one near the ceiling. The hotel has 5 floors and no lift. The light in the bathroom was not working.

- The location is very good and the room was clean. - This hotel was terrible and the staff was incredibly rude, unfriendly and cold. - The attitude of the staff was awful since they seem to only care about making money off their customers, not trying to make us feel comfortable at all. - There is no lift and we lived on the 5th floor. - There was a very strong smell around the hotel. - Quite difficult to find it since there is not any sign out of the hotel. - Very expensive for its services and facilities. - When we arrived out room was not ready. - Not recommended at all!!

Great value for the money spent. Fantastic location, very close to the notre dame and the louvre. Tons of crepe places, fast food eateries and cafes and brasseries on the same street. No towels, we had heard you had to pay extra for towels but this is incorrect they do not even have them for rent (only hand towels, 2 per room). Also shower key to shared shower only available from 8am to 8pm a bit strange. Bed very small, not even a double and not very comfortable, but for what we paid (50 euro in off season) we can not complain. I would return if on a similar budget for the location alone.

- Location was pretty good. You could reach on a walking distance to places like Louvre, Notre Dam de Paris and so on (approximatly 20 minutes); - Staff was quit nice too. - I did not like the room itself. It lacked facilities like electricity sources, wardrobe and did not loot fresh. I would say that hotel itself needs renovation. But it is really good value for many if you just need a place where you can stay at night. - I also did not like the fact that you have to leave keys from your room on the reception.

I enjoyed very much the warm kindness and the cleanness of the hotel. I have stayed before in different hotels in paris and for this price and higher prices I never found a clean comfortable hotel located in the centre and with such kind people who also speak englisch for those who need that. It is a rare oppertunity to find such a place. Yes it is typical french, not dutch or german but that is the charme. The atmosphere of the hotel was perfect and when somethings are old...retro and vintage are trendy and all is clean even the toilet at the middle of the night. Beds are comfortable with nice clean white sheets ,also important to sleep well. Breakfast is very well, good coffee, large and with real milk and a good price-quality.

For a short stay in Paris and a low budget trip, Hotel de la Vallee is a very good option. It is situated near Centre Pompidou, on a pietonal and full of life street, and it is very close to many of Paris main attractions: Notre Damme, Louvre, Etc. The rooms are very small, but in Paris most of the buildings are made in that way. But the room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a street view on a small and nice balcony. Not all the rooms are the same, so i recommend to Ask when you make a reservation for a street view room. But If you are in Paris you shouldn't stay inside, so go out all day and sleep well all nights in here. We'll come back here, amis!

Location is excellent and the street is fun and lively in the evenings. The shower is awfully small and individual bed pillows would have been nice, rather than the one provided.
