Good value for your money, and a great hotel for interRail/backpackers. We had a nice little balacony with view over a small shopping street. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby. Close to the metro.
No sink in the toilets, but there was one in the room. Not the best hotel, but great if you don't want to spend to much money on a hotel.
Location!!!! Helpful & Friendly Staff Clean
Bed was a little hard
It was smelly and dirty.
I have stayed here twice now simply because the location is perfect.
Reception can be quite rude sometimes
Worse decision to book that hotel .
Straight in the center, easy to reach by foot from Gare du Nord (train station). Warm reception Clean rooms (just bed, sink, window) Clean toilets/shower (in the hall) I should add that I paid as little as 127EUR for 3 nights.
Everything is a bit outdated. The mattress is old, though i slept well. The shower could use a makeover, but who cares for that price?
The location was good. The receptionists were friendly.
Our room was right next to the reception so it was difficult to sleep. We couldn't leave our windows open either because of the noise in the street. It smelt of damp and there was no air con. This is not a hotel that I would recommend to anyone with mobility problems as there are no lifts.
- nice staff - good location
- no lift/elevator - shared toilet - shared shower - weird smell - super hard to find - entrance is not welcoming - only 1 charger plug that was very high up - really old decor
quite cheap place to stay in zone 1 and very hospitable stuffs. wifi is good cuz we are right next to the reception desk
a bit noisy, and not that easy to find. hair dryer and kettle is not in the room
The hotel is located very well in the center of Paris in Rue Saint Denis. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops around. East and south railway stations are in walking distance if you are not a bad walker. The service was competent and friendly. The building is rather old, but fensters have been renewed recently, so even though it is loud outside, one can sleep very well. Showers are also new. It is a very fair offer for the little price and I would definitely go there again.
The entrance is a bit narrow and the stairs are steep. Some older people with plenty of heavy luggage had problems carrying it upstairs. Toilets are not in the room but at the stairs, although this is fair as it is stated in the description.
- On the airport (RER B) line and main metro interchange and short walk to major attractions - Friendly and helpful staff - Value for money
- No fan or AC, open windows means street noise and cigarette smoke coming in - Room had a strong musty smell, had to air out - Walls abit thin, so you can hear your neighbours
Location was great.10 min walk to Louvre museum and the Notre Dame cathedral. The staff was great. Near the Les Halles metro and RER station. Great little places to eat, especially Rue Montorgueil.
Weird bathrooms on stairs in between floors, broken shower. Only one outlet and it was on top of the closet. A bit noisy because of the street windows.
The location is good, staff helpful
The live onsite receptionist (Mohan i think his name was) was lovley very accomodating and friendly
We checked in went to our room, which had not been serviced, previous persons rubbish in the room. Used towels on the bed. Sink was dirty. Checked into a new hotel.
fantastic location good size room
sex shop neighbours breakfast
The location and the helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble Closely situated to strausbourg at Denis and chatalet stations. 10 minutes walk from Notre damn cathedral
Noise from Outside. However double glazing was extremely effective at drowning this out.
We went for 2 nights/3 days and for that short amount of time the hotel was perfect. Its location could not have been any better! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful trip in Paris!
The hotel is hidden behind a tiny restaurant. Though location is great, it took a while to find the place.
The location is perfect. U can go to any attractions by foot.
There is no lift. It's so hard to take the baggage to ur room! Meanwhile , the room is smelly.
Perfect location and huge room.
Great location! It was worth dealing with the negatives for the location.
We didn't have a working toilet in our room. So we had to go down the hall to a communal one which was not previously discussed. A bit dingy and old. The pillows weren't pillows at all. Just rolled up blankets. Very strange.
I got stuck in the bathroom, and needed help to open the door. It seems I was not the first one. The room was very hot in the roof, badly insulated.
