Shabby, worn out, no lift, fire hazard
The location of the hotel is perfect, and within easy walking distance, probably no more than 5 minutes from Chatelet De Halles station. The bathroom was good with a decent shower. I liked the fact that I could leave my bag at reception on the day of my departure and collect it later. The staff were all very friendly.
The room was supposed to be non-smoking, however it had an ash tray in it. The matress looked rather worn. The handle on one side of the bathroom door was missing making it impossible to shut. The television was placed on the wall above the wardrobe, and only two rather hard chairs.
For the price paid (52€/night) you will not find another place at such an amazing location in Paris. Right next to Les Halles and the Centre Pompidu.
Damp rooms, hall shower, small uncomfortable bed, no elevator, hard to communicate in other language than French with reception.
Dingy worn down facilities. But a good location. It's a place to sleep.
The hotel has perfect location, walking distance to all major Paris attractions. Room and shared bathrooms were very clean, the room however tiny was very comfortable. Had tv, wifi and very comfy bed. I am very lucky to find this place. I would recommend it to everyone!
good location, nice personnel
No lift , when your room is at the 4th floor it is an exhausting effort to carry luggages through a narrow and steep stair case. My waist hernia relapsed !
awesome location!!!!!!! that's it...(
Quiet pedestrian area located near attractions. Staff very helpful.Lots of cafes & shops nearby. Good value room size was good for Paris.
1 being next to a strip joints (had little effect) 2 street cleaners in A.M. 3 stairs no lift available
Very conveniently located near major metro transfer station. Easy to get to tourist sites. Many cafes nearby with excellent food. Basic, clean accommodations in an older, historic section of Paris. Helpful, friendly staff.
The beds are old and uneven, the smell of the rooms, shower and room didn't feel clean, no basin in toilet or shower for washing hands after being to toilet only basin is in room. Would of stayed at a cheaper place if we knew it was going to be this bad. very over priced.
The receptionist had a smile in spite of everything
The entrance already is off putting - dirty door close to sexshops, steep stairs that last seen refurbishment decades ago. Hotel comes with two stars on booking. Com but toilet is in staircase for entire corridor, no washbasin in toilet, no shower in room. Shower cubicle for entire floor with sign to pay 15 French Francs for key, with very dilapidated look. Glad I had a plastic bag to keep my clothes in. In bedroom no socket whatsoever, smelly, carpet cut around rickety wardrobe with one handle Missing, tiles nearly fell off wall close to washbasin. Checked same evening for alternative accommodation as unsure I would manage to stay. Worse than any hostel. Lest six am next morning glad to be out. Top of my black list. Never again. 135 euros total overpayment for this. Maybe 35 would have conveyed better what value to expect.
The hotel near attraction and shopping areas in Paris.
They are not trained for service they act like a part timer kind of workers.
The in room bathroom was okay
The lack of an elevator and the location of our room on the 5th floor.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. For what I paid, we got our money's worth.
The paint is peeling in places and apart from the staff, we were worried what our stay would be like once we saw the place. But looks are evidently deceiving.
1) bedbugs / клопы 2) mold in the shower and at hand basin in the room / плесень в душе и на раковине в комнате 3) no elevator / нет лифта 4) narrow and steep staircase - very hard to get in and especially when you room in on the 4th floor with no one to help / узкая и крутая лестница - тяжело взбираться особенно если вас поселили на 4м этаже
Location is pretty good - in the 1st arr. However the section of street is 'seedy' with a sex shop next door!
Basically a flop house. Asked for a lower level floor and we got the 3rd floor (no lift). Reception is on the 2nd floor at the top of winding narrow stairs. We're seniors and it was really hard getting luggage up to 3rd floor. No a/c or smoke alarms etc (sandwich stand next door with grills and ovens). Worried about a fire. Ceiling was literally peeling off and drapes were nasty. Bathroom tiles missing and the ceiling was covered in black mold. I don't think my husband will ever forgive for booking here.
Good value for your money, and a great hotel for interRail/backpackers. We had a nice little balacony with view over a small shopping street. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby. Close to the metro.
No sink in the toilets, but there was one in the room. Not the best hotel, but great if you don't want to spend to much money on a hotel.
Location!!!! Helpful & Friendly Staff Clean
Bed was a little hard
good location. near by monop near by subway
no elevator. stair it is very inconvenient. because of my luggage too heavy. shower booth is sucks toliet also sucks. compared to facility, prices is too expensive. dont stay here
transportation is really convenient, so many stores and restaurants around, near de la Louve and Pambidu art center.
room is small and no toilette, too many stairs really tired with luggages and you have to climb up and down everyday, street is so noisy till midnight, I could hear anything from next door, toilette doesn't have place to wash hand.
