Cheap for great Location
The lock on the door was a bit Heath Robinson
within walking distance of many things.
Bathroom too small. Room needs paint.
Lots and lots of deferred maintenance issues in the building. Carpet was filthy, paint peeling, cracks in wall, mouldy caulk in bathroom. Bed was clean, but that was the only clean thing. When we checked in, the staff made no mention of the fact that the hot water heater was broken, although they clearly knew about it. We discovered this at 11 PM when we had to take ice cold showers. We mentioned this to the staff next morning and were told it would be fixed that day. Returning to the room at 10:30 PM, the water was still cold, although they were working on it. Second cold shower that night. When we asked for a discount for having 2 nights with no hot water, we were given the run around about having to ask the owner, who was conveniently never available when we were, and who was allegedly unavailable by phone. I feel the staff was dishonest about the problem with the water heater, and dishonest about availability of the owner. I understand that things break and can take time to fix, however, the staff should be honest about it right up front, and be empowered offer us something at the beginning to maintain good will with customers. In spite of the wonderful location, I do not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is really well located if you are travelling for the first time and want to know they key attractions and have nice walks. Also there is a nice boulangerie next to it were you can get fresh breakfast.
On the other hand, the facilities look more like a hostel. No room cleaning everyday. No elevator. Old rooms but fairly clean. Staff is nice but, for the price, you are really paying for location, not facilities. Also, they dont have option for breakfast there, even though there are many small cafés near.
Our room was big enough, also it has a restroom. Bed, linens etc was clean and tidy. we stayed just one night and slept well.
it has no elevator. stairs are narrow
Good location in city center
no elevator to six floor !!
Location is nice.
The shower is messed up, it splashes water everywhere, and it's super tiny. There is no hair dryer. No shower gel or shampoo either. Also, it was cold at night and we had to talk to the owner as the heating in the room didn't work, so we received an electrical heater, but we had to go down and tell him two times as he had forgotten about us. The light in the room didn't work for a while also. Wi-fi is pretty weak.
Location. Just next to Louvre Museum.
A convenient location in the city
bedding was clean. elsewhere should be more clean and updated. Put in order the shower rooms.
Despite having emailed to asked for early check in we still woke the managers son at about 9am. He said we could leave bags there and come back and check in later in the afternoon - All good. Arrived back to be told they couldn't rent us the room as the toilet was blocked and the room smelled. They did ring and organise another room across town for the same price - another positive.

Dirty place with bad smell and the staff disgracefull
Great location & easy to find
Old rundown building needs new bathroom
The staff were friendly
No showers in the room which (like the staircase) at 90 Euro is a bit steep. Thin walls lead to the usual lack of sleep due to nocturnal gymnastics.
The location was great.
- Despite saying that the hotel opens at 7, by 8.30 we still couldn't get inside to drop off out bags and no one was answering the bell. - I don't think the room we stayed in was worth what we paid.
Location: amazing. 2 mins walk from Louvre, less then hour of walk from Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, Orsay, in the middle of everywhere! Nice bistro on the corner, market nearby... Could not imaginge better location. Hotel. Small, strangely decorated, kitch details makes it even funny. CLEAN. Long bed, very clean sheets and tovels. Nice stuff allows check in any hours after calling them. Card payment.
Neigbours:). It's old building, you hear all toilets and parties in rooms around. When unlucky and meet noisy neighbours, you attend their parties and conversations etc. Staircase may be a problem for some heavy luggage owners or weak/sick people, no lift. They charge in advance for all stay when checking in, before even leting you glance at your room. Internet very slow, better buy 10€ prepaid SIM card, even communicator and mail is too much for their router when on the 2nd floor, not mentioning browsing.
Booked 3 rooms, on arrival only had 2!!!! No hot water. Incredibly noisy. Dirty, paint falling off, dirty bathroom. Plug sockets not working hanging off walls. Lights not working. Absolutely disgusting place.
Excellent location, very near the Louvre and Les Halles, and walking distance for most of tourist Paris. The guys who run it are friendly and helpful. My single room was very small, as I expected. The bed and bedding was clean and comfortable. The room was on the shabby side, although clean. Shared toilet and bathroom, adequate, no more. If you are looking for somewhere just to sleep, and no more, it's OK.
The hotel needs some TLC. A lick of paint here and there, and a bit of new carpet, would make the place much more pleasant. The bathrooms could do with an up grade too, although they were clean.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Took a lot of time to make the experience feel individual to you. Could not fault for the price.
Location was fantastic,central to everything
Booked a room with ensuite & the shower didn't work, had to walk 50 stairs to a shared shower( wasn't told about this till went to use the shower). Room wasn't cleaned, bed made or sheets changed in 5 days, changed my towels myself. 72 steps to our room,no lift
The location is good, very near musee the louvre, the metro and nearby resto. It has wifi and clean room and toilet.
Need to walk up and down the stairs
Very good location. Beautiful winding stairs.
Small and uncomfortably room.
Only the bed was comfy and there's hot water. That's the only good things I can say about this place. When I got there the lobby was OK. First looks impressed, then failed miserably after looking at the staircase.
No lift. Narrow n steep staircase. Room not clean. Doors don't close properly. Windows don't open. Bad paint job in the room. The shower ceiling is too low for a tall person like me. The bathroom was cramp. The shelves were just plywood pieces badly painted white. Odd placement of the power sockets. The table n chair supplied are those used at beaches.
The only good thing is the location (close to Louvre).
The rooms are horrible! It's dirty, there's no light in the bathroom, nobody cleans the rooms ou the toillets/bathroom (the hotel doesn't have toilets in the room) and I suspect the place is used as a motel (the empty rooms). Awful! No elevator!
Location was amazing, walking distance to every famous site in Paris
Worst room, bathroom, bed, no wifi. So dirty and hot. Bugs everywhere, smells real bad, no tv or wifi. Had to wear ear plugs to go to sleep to stop hearing people go to the toilet which was constantly, cigarette smoke and bathroom stink bellowed into my room the whole time
