The Hotel Londres was clean and convenient, the room was a little on the compact side but in all we enjoyed our stay. Excellent near by cafe bars. The stairs were a challenge with our luggage. |

the reception was able to provide us with extra towels and pillows. the breakfast was just enough: croissant and bread, coffee or tea. you need to climb a long stairway to get to the reception which was a problem to get the suitcase up.I wasn't aware of that stairway.the bedroom was tiny. you can only fit one suitcase and one person in the elevator.I don't recommand it if you're not fit. |

The hotel is situated just in front of the railway station, in the center of Lille, which makes it a perfect choice if you want to visit the town. The building is very nice, old but in good shape, with very small corridors, giving the sensation of an old "chateau". At the first floor there's an excellent "brasserie", where you can eat regional dishes and taste the very good local beer. As it is situated in the center of the town, the hotel is kind of noisy. It doesn't have a bar nor a parking (this is again normal considering its position). |

The only thing this hotel has in its favour is it is very near the eurostar station and close to the town. It is a very basic hotel and you would not want to spend any time in it, only to sleep, but you cant expect any more for what we paid. |

Its proximity to all facilities. The double room had a small TV placed on top of a cupboard, whereas the single rooms had a larger LCD TV placed on a lower cupboard. Not really a dislike only a comment. |

Right opposite train station. Room, including bathroom, was very clean. Bed neither very comfortable, nor a back-breaker. Took a room that did not face the street, so noise was not a problem at all. A basic hotel, but great value for money. Breakfast is too expensive for what it is, so I didn't opt for it. |

Cheap and central, immediately close to the Lille Flanders train station, and only 10 minutes walk into the reallllly interesting parts of the old town The place smells a little.. clean? Disinfectant clean. Not particularly unpleasant, though not my ideal aroma. My partner could not sleep very well as the hotel is in a very busy area (being so close to a train station is not always the best idea). Will probably not come back to this hotel, recommend one closer to the old town. |
