The location isn't too bad, just opposite Gard de' Lest train station and can get buses to where ever across the road.
The sign for the hotel isn't visible at all, was right in front of the station and couldn't locate it, had to go get a taxi to bring me back there. And the place is more of a hostel than a hotel, no lock on the main entrance, screen drivers was used to lock the door from inside at night and no telephone at all I'm the rooms. Will never stay or recommend for anyone.
Location is good
U have to drag cases for a few stairs before u can get on lift .
Easy to find this hotel from Paris Est station.
I booked this hotel via my credit card before arrival. On my arrival, they asked for my credit card again. I explained that this has done earlier. But they need my card again. Few days later, found out that they has charged my card twice. Now they has refunded - thanks to booking.com for their assistance. It is quite scary to walking along the very hard corridor. The smell in my room and shower is sort of damp and very outdated.
The view from the window its amazing.
They charge us for one night before we come to the hotel, they say it a garantie. So better to not give your credit card information. Pay with cash.
very close to metro station
there is no any things the same as in the web site.
Location is Excellent.
bath room in corridor.
location no noise from the street
quality of the bed you hear your neighbours as if they were in your room
I wanted to be close to Gare de Nord for the RER B train to CDG airport early the next morning. The hotel was near Gare de L'Est and it was a good 2-3 blocks to the Gare du Nord. I would not use this hotel again. No smoke smell
Had to walk up stairs one floor to get to reception (after that, there was an elevator) Floor was dirty; there were dust/hair in the corners Bathroom was odd: when you showered, the toilet and sink were in the same room Bed was ok with me; sheets were clean, mattress firm and ok with me; pillow was weird...one long, skinny thing that was locked in the sheet This is a basic, no frills room Would be unacceptable to many especially for $80./night. even in Paris.
The hotel is located right in front of the central station Gord de Nord, so thats a bit relaxing.
Noisy, hotel is too small, there was cold water in showers and of course no one knew a word of English.
Close to Gare de L'est Close to Gare du Nord Staff is pleasant
Room was clean but there were chips on the paint, bathroom paint, etc. Floor creaks a lot Room needed to be aired out
carpet. And mattress is bit doggy...
Close to tube station
Very small rooms bathroom 2 ft by 6 ft cubbyhole..u cant even stand freely...
I stayed here for one night as I was getting a train into Paris Est and a flight from CDG the following day. It was dirty, there was a mouse, my door didn't lock from the outside and there were a lot of dodgy characters lurking outside. As a young woman travelling on my own I did not feel safe in the slightest.
The hotel is very small. The receptionist does not speak english. The decoration is very poor.
They originally tried to give us a room without a locking door or toilet and refused to move us rooms or refund our money. After hours of arguing and trying to leave without refund we finally got upgraded to the top room. It was better but the bathroom still appeared to dirty to use.
The only good thing of this hotel is its location.
Gara de est is very close.
Filthy sheets and general feel of being unhygienic. Staff were simply rude and not interested in helping. Avoid at all cost.
The hotel is close to the train station, but you will not feel secure pass by the streets, especially you are female. The room is small, the facility is certainly not good quality.
a very pathetic hotel never ever seen in my life
Since we booked at the last minute, this place was one of the few that still had vacancies.
We paid 85 euros for a double room, which really is a rip off considering the room and facilities were pretty basic, and the bathroom was tiny and unfunctional. I wouldn't recommend it to people cause I've booked better rooms for less money.
location can't be better, right next to Gare de l'Est. Very friendly staff. I think the expectations from all those people giving negative reviews are way too high - yes, it is an old hotel, yes bathroom is tiny as can be, but try to get a room like that in this location at a better price - Paris is an extremely expensive city!!
The only hotel, that holds the amount for "pre-authorisation" and don't unblock it after almost one month after i pay in cash. I will never step there, again.
expensive room too small and not confortable
This hotel was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in my whole life. People who work there were pretty nice, but the facilities in the hotel were very very poor, old and not clean. Chairs and curtains were burnt by cigarettes. Blanket was not clean, and my legs started itching when it touched the blanket. I couldn't use wifi in my room. I could even hear people making love in next rooms. I was supposed to stay there for several days, but I moved to a near hotel in the second day. However, I had to pay for the two-day fee because of cancellation policies. 170 euros for one day. Pay just 10~20 euros more, then you can find much better places near there! Don't waste your precious money and time in this hotel.
