Location is excellent. Staff was extremely helpful. Room was very clean and pleasant.

Location, staff, has a small room that one can use as a lunch room after breakfast. short walking distance to Notre Dame, walking distance to the Marais and Latin quarter districts and subways. Real nice village feeling, directly across a bakery and next door to a grocer.

Small rooms, would like to have two chairs in each room, change location of in-room safe to a lower level height,

The staff is always wonderful, the rooms on the small side but charming, offering generous bathrooms,rooftop Paris views, delicious breakfasts and an unbeatable location on the Ile St. Louis.

I booked a single room and was given a double which is expensive for a single traveller - but I did know the price in advance and was prepared to pay it.

Small, friendly hotel in a very convenient location for City visits and metro connections. Sensitive use of original features has created a modern boutique hotel.

The location,the room, spacey renovated bathroom since we've been 3 girls traveling. Other reviews wrote too small elevator but for anyone who knows Paris,it is everywhere like this. We didn't book the breakfast,since at the corner is a very nice & typical French bistro St.Regis which we just loved,it was perfect for breakfast or lunch or just a quick coffee.On day of check-out we overslept,and did checkout an hour later which was no problem at all. Rer metro station just 10 min away, closest metro station 2min Pont Marie.

We just stayed one night, but we would stay there again or just to try at the 'sister' hotel few meters away.

A comfortable hotel with helpful staff and a lift. A good location for restaurants and shopping as well as an easy walk to sights such as Notre Dame.

The rooms were pretty small and the beds narrow although the bathroom was a good size.

The hotels location is excellent and we where made to feel welcome by the staff from the moment we arrived till check out. Room was comfortable and well kept, we had been worried about a small bed but where pleasently supprised. Breakfasts where huge, far beyond what we could eat and very yummy - could not have asked for better. We will be going back to Paris and will book into this hotel again or its sister one down the street.

My only issue would be we where in the new part of the building and did not have a beamed room - but its not a major issue as our room was just fine.

If you want to stay in the centre of Paris, and in particular on the Isle de Cite, and why wouldn't you? Then this is a wonderful location. The hotel has an "olde worlde" feel but has been nicely modernised within the limits of an old building. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is very clean and cosy. Our room could be considered to be compact, but we found it perfectly adequate with a large amount of wardrobe space and a lovely bathroom. Frankly it would make no sense to stay here and spend a long time in the room. This is Paris, get out and enjoy it. Access by Metro is very easy and the hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants.

This is a lovely little hotel in a great location. The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful with Metro directions, etc. Our room was elegant; high, beamed ceiling with floor to ceiling french windows that opened onto the street below -- a quintessentially "French" looking room! Bathroom was outstanding -- modern and large, tub and shower. Plenty of closet and storage space. The room might be small by American standards, but it fit us quite well.

Not really a complaint, but a warning: Tiny, tiny elevator can accommodate two people. Period. At check-in & out, staff will handle your bags, otherwise we could not have fit them in the lift with us. We were on the second floor, so we used the steps during our comings and goings.

It was an extremely comfortable and friendly hotel. The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful and they provide a delicious and substatial continental breakfast. It is situated in a beautiful part of historic Paris and is within easy walking distance of the Seinne, lots of excellent restaurants and bars etc and the Metro and rer travel systems are within 10 minutes walk away. We found it in the Michelin guide which has never let us down.

Nothing really except the bbc World Service had no sound and the television could have been better but then we weren't there to watch tv so it wasn't worth bothering the lovely staff about it!
