The staff is very kind and they to their best to make you feel comfortable and reply to your questions. rooms are clean with a good bed, TV, fridge and free wifi.
The position is difficult to find, a small blue door on Rue menilmontant. Not Boulevard menilmontant be carefull. The hall is very poor and they are painting and rebuilding some areas..after the hotel will be better!
Location and price.
Just one person of the staff could speak English so it was quite difficult to communicate. The hotel is under refurbisment and looks dirty.
location 25 mtrs. from metro, direct connection to arc de triomph with access to all the other sights, journey time about 15 mins. Lots of places to eat in the vicinity including KFC and McDonalds for anybody who likes them, also plenty of shops
Amazing location, best one can get even with higher rents. The neighbourhood was lovely as well, while Abdel the guy on evening shifts was the most helpful ever. He did all in his control to make our stay as good as possible, even arranging a fan from somewhere as it got too hot in Paris
No cooling arrangements, fans or ac, one doesnt need much in paris but there are days when its un tolerable. Wifi is week in rooms away from the reception.
I like the location bear the metro station and a lot of places to buy some groceries
I didn't like that I couldn't sleep so good because of the hoy weather insiste the room
the location of the hotel
the room was not a proper room. there was no AC or Fan
Nice place inside the room.
WiFi signal did not come inside the room. Staff did not speak English.
Very clean and so close to the Metrı(really 50m).
A bit far from the city center. The door lock didn't work (Room 4). Staff don't speak English. Value for Money is poor..
- Staff was very friendly and spoke english. - Metro station around the corner. - The room was quite large and comfortable. - Normal-sized shower. - A lot of different markets near the hotel.
WiFi connectivity was good only near the reception. There was no connectivity in the room.
Location was nice, 30 metres from metro stop. The hotel's street was full of shops & restaurants. The hotel was renovated and being renovate (but some furniture was really old). They kept our luggage the last day while we visited paris.
They only spoke french. The room was rly dirty, they didnt even change the bed clothes.... and we saw cleaners spending only 5 min cleaning per room... To sum up if u dont care the cleaning the hotel is ok.
very good location, easy to find.
the room is small
Location is just 1 min from the metro station.
Staff could not speak in English. It was really difficult to communicate with them.
The hotel is located just next to the metro station and has many shops and bistros nearby.
It is pretty distant from the city center and most of the sightseeings.
The staff were very kind and gave me a better room. The location is great. Close to metro and restaurants. Easy to get around.
The wifi was rubbish. Slow and kept dropping out.
Had a single room with a private bathroom. Staff was helpful. Near the line 2 metro.
No air conditioning and room could get stuffy. Walls are VERY thin.
The hotel is well located near the underground downtown Paris. The main interest is the room, which was quiet and comfortable for a very reasonnable price in Paris, because there are no services as a "classic" hotel.
Very kind and helpful staff. Almost all basic facilities that you need. :)
Very close to the metro with many shops and restaurant around, good location!
Wifi connection was unstable and slow in my room
The location near a metro statuon, the staff very helpful and nice
There is no elevator, the rooms don't have a good sound isolation
The rooms had the potential to be really nice just needed some finishing touches
The hotel was half finished building works going on. No hooks in bathroom for towels.
The staff is friendly. It is really close to the subway station.
Wifi wasn't working for all the google related pages (youtube, gmail, searcher) because of some security issue. I know it wasn't my computer because I connect everywhere else just fine. The front door closes at 1am so you can not see late night paris. They forgot to put shampoo at the room the first night (I didn't bother to ask because I thought they didn't put any).
This is my first impression, but I am going back next week; I liked it enough to return. The lobby is unpromising, but the common areas generally are clean and attractive. The room was neat, clean and well-fitted; I even had a fridge. The reception was a sort of family communal area, which is kind of cosy, relatives of the manager sit and chat and watch TV in there. The area around the hotel is one of the most laid back in Paris, with a pleasant market, wide pedestrian areas, and a lot of fun shops and several decent supermarkets. I didn't really explore the eating, though I had a superb steak nearby. The walk down to Pere Lachaise is lovely. There are a couple of good Velib stations nearby.
No shampoo. Mattress protector a bit rustly. Reception shuts at 1:00 am. None of these things bother me. You need to change to get to the centre of Paris, where I work. Most tourists won't care about that. Pere Lachaise and Montmartre are on the same line.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was handy to transport. Metro was 2 minutes away. Value for money.
Not the nicest part of Paris but to be fair you cannot get anything at this price for the nice parts of Paris.
