room quite stylish and freshly renovated
extremly small room (almost a capsule hotel), unbelivable noisy place
Close to the subway (with these lines close-by you can reach almost every major site or area in the city). Love the new interior! The beds are amazing. The noise of the metro as mentioned in other comments is very distant, didn't bother us at all.
I like the Bed very comfortable and very convinient for me. Very close to the metro station and close to the shops and restaurant .
I didn't know that the hotel is under renovation and the smell starting from the entrance and the hall way smell dust. what I've read from their website there is breakfast but no break fast.no elevator cause under renovation. we can hear and feel the sounds of metro under ground. But it's okey i have very good sleep
I liked the location
Too much noise, rooms are not comfortable, very small rooms, there is dust everywhere,
The facilities in the room were very good since everything in the room was clearly brand new. Furthermore, the location of the hotel at bd. de Montparnasse allows for excellent metro access, since stations of many lines are nearby.
Several floors of the hotel were still under construction which showed debris in staircases, some noises (although not very early) and a non-functioning elevator (help with the luggage was offered). However, given the quality of the room we stayed at, I am sure that this will be an excellent hotel in the very near future.
Staff tried to sell something they did not have.
Unlight hallways at night that were narrow and tight up to the 4th floor which was still to hot to sleep. No elevator, power off and on. Poor Wifi that came and went. Over head shower that did not work.
This place is perfect if you are looking to find an affordable place to stay in Paris that is in a great location. It is close to the metro and the rooms are exactly as pictured - boutique like and extremely clean! My friend and I stayed on a weekend and had no trouble with the noise even though they were renovating and they were very kind to us during our stay. I would definitely recommend hotel Nantes to my friends who are looking for a budget hotel close to the tourist sites. Don't hesitate!
The receptionists were not great at english although they did try their best - so be sure to plan your trip ahead of time. Also, there is no air conditioning in the room - although they did provide us with a fan which made it more comfortable at night. Overall the hotel is very good value for money!
Friendly staff Elevator Comfortable bed Great location
Hotel de Nantes have very clean room. Love that! The Staff were very friendly, kindly and welcoming. Thank You! Close to all tour is attractions.
It was good but they are currently renovating and I was there during the World Cup weekend so both those things were really noisy.
Great Location and staff. Lot of restaurants, caffes and pubs in the closest area
We were not informed, that the hotel is getting renovated. There was no breakfast service and the entrance was packed with huge carton boxes.Floor to the rooms was dirty with some renovation dust (which is understandable if you are informed about all that...)
Quite near to Gare Monparnasse & Metro. Restaurants & supermarket ( monoprix ) just downstairs.
Toilet is small. Bath tub didnt come with a shower curtain, so when you bathe, the floor will definitely be wet. Wifi averagely slow.
The owner is completely dishonest.
Location was good
Staff was friendly
No Washcloths, No Shower Curtin for tub, poor lighting in Bathroom. Room had deep stench of disinfectant which required keeping windows open facing a noisy busy street. No phone in room for wake-up calls. Holes in walls in bathroom. Tub did not drain properly forcing you to stand in water above your ankles. Hotel was under refurbishment on multiple floors with a lot of dirt and boxes everywhere . Breakfast area was discontinued but not made known until check-in. At almost $200 US per night - a very bad value.
The tunisian guy in the reception was very helpful.
Because of building works it was bit dirty and no breakfast was served cz of it
Exceptionally small room for the price paid.
Within a fair walking dinstance of some key sites, and plenty of cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Receptionist was very helpful.
Hotel was renovating and builders dirt was traipsed through the lobby and in the lift every day. ThE room was miniscule and bathroom had a bath and loose shower head but no shower curtain so water went everywhere.
Location was good - close to several metro stops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was simple and clean. Great value.
It's located on a busy street, with some traffic noise. It's also over a metro line.
Poorly maintained room, low level of cleanliness along corridors and a relatively expensive rate.
The staff members were friendly and helpful.
The room was cramped, small, and poorly ventilated. (No serviceable air conditioning.) The shower was difficult to use. The Wi-fi shut off frequently. We would not return to this hotel.
Spartan conditions. Creaky lift. General dowdy ness.
very friendly staff at the reception, good location
Some staffs were very helpful. Jahna and Sandra helped to put us in better room on second night as the first was really bad and old.
Some staff declined the request to room change even we willing to pay. He lied that all rooms full while we found out some still vacant.
It was a very small room, however it was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the working elevator.
Some of the lights in the hall and stairs were not working. My husband has a balance problem, so it was difficult for the areas to be so dark.
