For 37€, it was okay.
But the hotel is hard to find, everything was not so clean (little stains on the towel...) and there is not air-conditionner.
I like the location and facilities
This hotel is very close to the station with metro and tram so you can easily get to any play you wish for... The rooms are nice and offer enough space for two.
If you like walking through a city and want to explore the city it takes a little to get there. The surrounding of the station isn't the nicest part of Lyon... But if you are just looking for a place to sleep this hotel will do.
Nice, very well located, inexpensive hotel. The hotel is next to the railway station, which is usually not the calmest location but anyway the area was better than expected. The street was quiet during the night. Convenient access both by car and by train. The location is fantastic if you take the tram or subway to the center. I could park my car just in front of the building (the parking was free in August). The reception guys had no problem to communicate in English. The hotel is not the fantastic quality, but was absolutely fair for the price I paid.
The building is not in a perfect shape but still OK for short stay (for example the floor in our room was not flat). The guy didn't inform me that I could park my car for free next to hotel even I was asking for advice where to park. I discovered it by myself checking in the parking machine.
the position is really comfortable, tram and underground are really close to reach every part of the city
We stayed in Lyon to rent a student apartment for the next school year. Location of the Hotel is excellent when you have to use metro or tram for visiting different parts of the town. The price is more than reasonable for the offer.
All staff at hotel are very friendly. They are glad to take me fm RER C to hotel at midnight !
Room was very clean. Clean towels and soap upon arrival. Room was very simple - just a desk, chair and bed. However, as I was there to see the city and looking for a comfortable place to sleep, this hotel was more than sufficient. Wifi was flawless. For example: no lag at all when using Skype chat. Great location. Easy 10 minute walk to Presqu'ile. Would definitely stay here again.
Althought the floor surface was tight, it had all the confort of a 4-star hotel. The rooms were excellent.
Food not included. Ugly lobby. Every 4 hours I had to sign in again for the wifi.
smell of the room/bathroom
Friendlyness of staff!
Very near to the Lyon Perrache TGV train station, as well as the tram n metro station. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Clean n tidy room. Pretty comfortable to stay.
It's a cleaned room by middle size.
The power (220V) available only at the far coner of the room... You can't charge your phone/notebook near bedroom :/
Close to everything, excellent staff, few train stops away from everything.
Location near Perrache station with metro and tramway
I had some difficulty initially signing into WiFi
small room, difficult to find the hotel at the beginning
25m from perrache station
Located right by the parking lot of Lyon's Perrache station where you can take TGV trains, regional trains, metro and tram. It's also only a few minute walk to the center that leads to Lyon's shopping area and its Place Bellcour. If you are a fan of the worldwide famous book "The Little Prince", that's where you can find its author Antoine de Saint-Exupery's status along side with the Little Prince. The building where Saint-Exupery was born in is also around the corner. This district (2nd arrondisement Presqu'ile is surrounded by 2 rivers -Saone on the left and Rhone on the right). Beautiful view to enjoy along side the rivers that is no less than the Seine.
For a first time comer, it might take a little while to locate this hotel. But once you get to that corner, you would find it in a quiet area that you would actually enjoy during the night sleep.
location, cleanliness, overall service
one misunderstanding with staff which could be potentially dangerous; toilet separate from running water as it was in my room, is not ideal
I liked the way the staff went out of their way after an accident resulted in coffee being spilt over my top. They washed it and dried it and had it ready for me in the morning when we left.
The hotel is two-minute walking to the train station, tramway, and metro. The room is comfortable and quiet. The bed is big, soft, and very clean. The receptacle is helpful, especially the smiling boy who told me how to get to the Chinese restaurant is very friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.
We got a Booking deal of 90€ for 2 days (45€ night). The bed is comfortable (not that much the pillow). Very near from train/metro/tram station (Perroche).
Particularly one receptionist was very unfriendly and rude. Shower hole was nearly blocked. Maid did not change the toilet paper when there was little remaining. Also, when she change our towels, she did only for one of us. In general, staff (receptionists and maids) has much to improve. Expensive breakfast 7-8€ (we did not try though). Not worth without a deal like ours.
Location somewhere between the railway tracks and motorway. Mouldy smell in room and bathroom
