Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord and Poissoniere metro station Quiet and peaceful room. Good breakfast.
Most of the personell was helpful. Good parking solution.
Bed cover is worn out. Only French TV channels. A lack of tea pot in the room is a minus
I liked the location, the moderate price, and the size of the bed and room was adequate for the price.
The room smelled of smoke. A box of tissues would have been handy. There was no usable phone on the premises; I had to go over the road. French showers that you have to hold with one hand, instead of being wall- mounted, are crazy.
Can get Pakistani traditional food near by.
Expected everything to be much better
Very friendly staff, no problem changing the room for a more quiet one. Beds nicely tough, clean sheets and towels. Great location! For a short stay quite sufficient.
Rooms from the street extremely noisy 24/7 - impossible to sleep. Rooms very old, small, in poor condition.
close to the bus stop & metro station. It's convenient.
Central heating is not good working. It was a cold night.
The location was central which is why I picked it.
This place I'm afraid was completely awful, not worthy of any stars and probably should be shut down and investigated. I emailed them to say (in French) I would be arriving on the late train, which they did not acknowledge. When I got there I said I had a reservation and gave my name and handed the young man at the desk the paper in my hand. For a good 5-10 minutes he searched the booking screen looking from the screen to the paper, saying nothing to me. I finally asked if he was having trouble finding it, he said yes, confirmed my name again and then went back to searching the single booking screen. About a minute later, I realised I had given him directions to the hotel that I'd also had in hand instead of the booking confirmation, so that was totally my fault, but at no time in the 10 minutes he was searching the paper and the screen did he say, Madame you have given me directions not the reservation. Then, another 2 minutes later he found the reservation (on the same screen he'd been looking at for the last 12 or so minutes) but couldn't programme the key card. After several attempts and changes of the screen and clicking something else, it finally worked and then he couldn't find the remote to my room so he gave me the remote to another room, which I don't understand because he'd just said the hotel was fully booked. Anyway, the room...the wallpaper was old and dirty. There was a big chunk of foam missing (plus the covering fabric) from the poof in the room. The doubled bed was 2 single beds pushed together BUT made up separately as single beds (I booked a double room for single occupant). One of the lightbulbs was burnt out, there were rips in the wallpaper and paint peeling on the ceiling. The only thing that looked nice were the bedspreads and matching curtains, which looked fairly new, were in (mostly) good repair, were pretty and clean (at least the bedspreads were, the curtains were less than clean).
Good location Friendly personnel
Wi-fi only in lobby
The location of the hotel is excelent
My room didnt had wifi so on the second day I was changed to another room. The second room the shower was broken, when I complaind I was told it was fixed but they didnt. I complained again and the complain was ignored.
