Our hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the city of Tours, just behind the main railway station and only a few steps away from the city convention centre. It is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and shops.In front of our hotel are some cinemas and far away there are an ice-skating track, a swimming pool and a sports centre. The location is near the train station. The lady with bright eyes who speaks English is very friendly. Not easy to find the hotel. The room is clean, but with bad smells.

Not much but it was useful to have secure car parking, For a total price of Eur107 this was one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. For half the price we paid maybe it would have been more acceptable. We had a family room that was very small, overlooking a noisy road. When we asked how to turn on the AC, we were informed it was automatic but only on when the temp reaches 27 degs! We decided not to have breakfast, which would have added another Eur 28, on check out we were then told the credit card macine didn't work and asked to go to the bank for cash.

the only good thing about this hotel is the location, ie next to Tours station. No teamaking facilities in room, which I consider a necessity, had to ask for aircon control, stairs difficult and narrow to negotiate esp with suitcases, breakfast very sparse and the hotel at 85 euros plus 7 euros for breakfast was a ripoff - very small rooms and would not recommend this hotel to anyone - look around!

Room was made vey nicely (bed, cleaning). 'Robe de chambre' - extremely nice after shower. Shower and toilet like in the airplane, very little space. No toilet brush (even upon request ;)) First night towels were like old rags, but last day quite acceptable.

La proximité avec le centre de Tours, le confort de la chambre et de l'hotel en general, ainsi que le parking prive appréciable dans ce quartier. Le système d'entrée, trop "délicat" ou trop "sophistiqué" pour nous et qui se bloque quand on veut aller se coucher a 3h du matin! Les aboiements du petit chien de l'hôtel, un peu trop fréquents le matin.

La habitacion es pequeña, pero esta bien equipada y la cama es muy comoda. Dispone de parking privado. La ubicacion es buena, al lado de la estacion de Tours y a pocos minutos caminando del centro. La ducha pierde un poco de agua ya que esta al mismo nivel del suelo del baño. El recepcionista solo hablaba Frances, asique es dificil entenderse, aun asi es muy amable y intenta entenderte.

Aucun accueil à aucun moment de la journée. Personnel désagréable. Aucune sécurité au sein de l'hotel: suite à l'accès au parking fermé par une grille, la porte arrière de l'hotel reste ouverte toute la nuit. Pas d'ascenseur Murs extremement fins dans les chambres Salle de bain de 1m2

Me gustó mucho la ubicación. A 2 min caminando de la estación de tren y de la oficina de turismo! No me gustó que nos dejaran mucho tiempo esperando en la recepción, la luz iba y venía en la habitación y el baño olía raro.

La proximité du centre-ville, le quartier calme. La chambre est très petite et il n'y a pas de sommier sous le matelas, le matelas repose sur le cadre du lit, ce qui rend le couchage désagréable.De plus, il faisait une chaleur incroyable dans cette chambre, pourtant le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et la clim non plus, nous avons dû dormir la fenêtre ouverte.

La salle de bain rudimentaire (cabine douche/WC moulée comme dans les hotels 1er prix). Désagréable, particulièrement s'agissant d'une chambre familiale. Une odeur désagréable dans la chambre. Globalement pas accueillant.

“The room was spacious and right next to the train station. The information center was across the street and had great information, very helpful! We rented bicycles one street over from the hotel. The bikes were a great way to get around and see the whole city. We took long Bike tours through the countryside on really great and well maintained bike paths which were generally paved with some dirt road sections, but mostly paved. The bike signs for directions were very easy to follow. We missed the signs a couple of times but easily backtracked and found our way. It was a great way to see castles and we worked it out to take a train back to The Hotel Le Grande. Also there is a store right next door for wine, cheese, breads, fruit, and vegetables. Pretty much anything you need for a good time. There are many wonderful cafe's Right on the same street. It is a great choice!” Masami, Sylmar |
