super hotel, nice people, great location, close to metro, nice clean comfortable hotel
Quirky decoration and wall hangings. Must have been quite a grand hotel before the rooms were subdivided. Best croissants at breakfast. Like a B&B in many ways.
Noise from footfalls on stairs and rooms above. Awkward steps up to basic shower/toilet attached to small room. Stayed in warmish Autumn and temperature OK but summer could be a problem?
It was a great location . It was safe and we would totally stay there again. The owners were friendly and helpful.
The location is good indeed, 10-15 min walk to the Notre Dame or the Louvre, good restaurants nearby, slightly bohemian.
Staff barely speak English, no amenities only a liquid soap dispenser on the wall; no shower curtain, and lukewarm water that takes 5 min to arrive.
Walking through neighborhood, close to many restaurants and transportation, staff was very helpful and spoke English, food was good.
Stayed in October for two nights: booked one single and one triple room. The hotel absolutely corresponded the pictures shown online. It's a fairly good location for that money one can get in Paris, given Paris prices are in top range, close to subway station. Staff treated us with courtesy, we arrived earlier than official check-in time and were complimentary given one room, so didn't have to wait to drop our bags. It's quite clean, though rooms aren't just renewed. Light breakfast was also available for us at early check-out at 6am. We generally enjoyed our stay.
Wifi is a bit slow, you can't stream TV, but fairly enough to download your boarding pass. Nothing else I could complaint about
Location is near to les halles stationwhich is central to all connections in Paris in a quiet and friendly neighborhood Staff are nice and they like to help and respond to requests They helped to stay for a night in a fair basement room when we arrived one day earlier, it was nice of them because all hotels were full at that time.
WiFi is bad if available at the third floor Facilities are old however this explains the reasonable price For three nights of staying there they didn't change the sheets My room had a bathtub as I requested but the hole in it kept draining water, I told them on the morning of the last day but they didn't fix it so we didn't actually use it after all
We were very pleased with the location of this hotel being within walking distance of many of the highlights of Paris including Le Marais for less expensive eating and shopping. The double room was on the top floor with a balcony and good views; very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good value.
The ensuite bathroom was a little small.
The staff was friendly, the bed good and the breakfast excellent
in room 1 you hear every noice from the reception or floor.
Nice staff, clean rooms, great location.
Room was small, bathroom tiny.
Decorated room whilst out-moved the beds and our possessions without asking.this may seem minor but my wife could not find her flat shoes(hidden due to decorators laser lining tool, screwdrivers and tiles etc), so ended up with a 8 hour walk around paris in her high heels-she was not pleased. Internal walls paper thin, can hear coughing, running water, toilet, babies, creaking floorboards everywhere etc I have coeliac disease and sent 3 emails to hotel before arrival and it took 3 weeks to respond. Was assured breakfast would be 100% gluten free-it wasnt. All staff hadnt a clue re GF issues. Day1 given fruit plus breakfast cereal with wheat and gluten ingredients. Day 2 fruit only. Eventually given gluten free breakfast on 3rd day.
Triple room not spacious enough. Toilet too small.
Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful Location is amazing, close to everything you could possibly need Rooms are great, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is included, making it even better value
Friendly helpful staff, quiet at night and perfect if you want to stay in the heart of the city. Very interesting decor.
The room was clean but a little run down and the shower drain was slow moving.
Good booking.com Good price for central Paris. Bathroom was ok with towels. Double bed was comfy. Breakfast was very nice. The owner was very pleasant, and his wife.
The room was too small and the curtains pulled made it feel very claustrophobic. Landing carpets were torn, and scruffy, and the floorboards creaked like an old wooden ship. Opposite the hotel was a Massage parlour and not for backache! Hotel lift too small for 2 plus bags.
noisy room - bed linen were not clean
Great value for money in the Marais. Lovely guy behind the desk. Will stay here again.
Fantastic location, so many attractions nearby and very close to metro. Yummy breakfast - croissants etc. Loved the Paris-chick decor. Friendly service.
Room tiny but to be expected for price/area. Mattress quite hard. No shower curtain so water sprays around...
Nice and very helpful staff Breakfast room very cute with cartoon caracters that we like
Very clean room, clean towels everyday, quite, friendly staff although I did not speak French, easy to get around once I found the right metro. Although a good walk you can walk to the main attractions. Enough to eat for the breakfast.
Nothing worth commenting on
Very close to Metro, value for money and paid beforehand. Convenient kitchen and breakfast included. Windows opened for street viewing but closed blocked sound out so sleep was peaceful
Missing breakfast as late in so slept in.
The agreed rent was EUR141.2 but overcharged me an extra EUR28- without any reason.
The hotel was a cozy getaway, a kind staff, nice breakfast every morning and a lovely view of the Paris we adore.
Staff is nice and willing to help. The location of this hotel is good and near the metro station.
The hotel is little bit difficult to find which is inside the small street. The lift is not very large and can only accommodate 3-4 people each time.
Wifi only worked in the lobby
