Friendly staff. Еxcellent location. Room was clean but small and dark. This place is just for sleeping, not to "stay".

Fabulous location and staff, particularly Tristan, who go the extra mile for any request (even picking up dry cleaning) and very pleasant Nice bathtub, lots of hot water My room faced the courtyard and it was very quiet on a busy street. a little tired and depressing. I had a single room - it was perfectly servicable if somewhat small and kind of depressing. New bedding (like duvet's and fluffy pillows) would go a long way to improving the look and feel of the room

A really wonderful little hotel. The staff was always accessible and helpful, the room extremely comfortable (and quiet, for being street-side), and the location was terrific - most of what we wanted to see/do was an easy walk away, but the neighborhood is pretty awesome on its own . Would stay here again in a heartbeat - great value!

Charming and comfortable hotel in a wonderful and colorful area of Paris. Our family had two twin rooms, hard to find in Paris -- the one overlooking the street was lovely, the room decor attractive, the beds comfortable, the view through the two windows picturesque, and the bathroom clean and modern. The room on the small inner court was not as nice as the room on the street side -- no view of course -- though it was quiet and good for light sleepers. A nice touch was delivery of a delicious croissant breakfast in the room in the morning.

The service was excellent; the staff was very, very helpful and went out of their way to help in any way they could. I tried to use my French but their English skills were far superior to my French skills and they did not make me feel silly. The location of the hotel is perfect. I could walk to 99% of the sites I wanted to see - Louvre, Pompideu Center, Tuilleries,La Tour Eiffle, Arc d' Triumphe, Musee D'Orsee, Marais, Opera, etc. The shopping and eating in the Ste Germaine area is top notch -- we did not have one bad meal, one bad experience in the area (we spent a total of 8 days in the area). I would have stayed longer at the hotel but a friend of mine that I was traveling with had rented an apartment and I ended up staying with her there at 20 Rue de Seine. Otherwise I know I would have been happy at Hotel De Seine. It would have been nice if WiFi was part of the hotel fee and/or if breakfast was part of the hotel fee. It would have been nice is even a cup of coffee was part of the hotel fee. I travel alot for work as part of my job in the us and wiFi is typically starndard with hotel rooms in the us. Minimal coffee service is also standard with normal hotel room in the us.

Wonderful situation in the heart of the Left Bank and an easy stroll to the river. Lots of small galleries and trendy clothes shops. Great breakfasts. The double bed was too small - what we would call 3/4 size. The room was a bit cramped.

The location is amazing and the hotel is a lovely facility. Staff are very helpful, provide accurate information and genuinely want you to have a good time. The hotel offers great value for the price. I will definately stay here again. The breakfast was a little too basic for the price.

Not worth the money we paid for it. I would expect to pay 100 Euro for a place like that and only because if it's location. The pictures were misleading. I would never have paid 200 Euro if I had known what it was really like. Our room was small, dark and awkward layout. The bed was hard. The towel heater didn't work. The Internet connection was slow.

The experience at the Seine Hotel was fantastic. On arrival we were greeted by Tristan, who was outstanding. He was friendly, helpful and very accomodating to all our needs. Tristan would have to be the best hotel worker we have ever encountered. Well done and you need a pay rise, because you made our stay in Paris 100%. Cheers Angie and Isabella

Firstly, I want to commend you on a first rate, five star manager that served us when we arrived. We were very impressed with her professionalism and her interest in our visit to Paris and her hotel. Well done to her and to her lovely staff. I would add to that, the room was beautifully cleaned, smelled nice, and your cleaning staff were just lovely to deal with. Her interest in our stay was unsurpassed by other room attendants in other hotels we have stayed in. I would like to comment on the facility. The pictures were not the same as the 'real life' experience. We were very disappointed with the 'tired' look of the bedroom (perhaps mostly with the decor - wall paper, bed covers and curtains.) It was very different on line than it was in person. The decor should not be rated as three star and thus way overpriced. Sadly, your staff was five star but the facility did not compete with them. We chose not to use the breakfast facility.

This was a lovely hotel, a quiet place amidst a very lively Parisian scene. We were always glad to get back to it at the end of a busy and tiring day - it was like coming home . Our room was excellent and quite spacious. In fact, all the public rooms were clean, comfortable and appropriate for the overall style of the hotel. At 12 Euros, the breakfast is quite expensive for what it is. Nevertheless the breakfast service was good and friendly.

In fact having stayed in similar hotels in the same area over the last five years, I was disappointed with the hotel De Seine. I though the room and the decor to be very tired and the toilet facilities on the ground floor were very poor. The electric wires to the light switch are dangerous. Unfortunately the room smelt of stale smoke and the shower was in poor condition. I would not return particularly at the price being charged. Peter Everard
