Perfectly located on the rue de Seine, just of the rue de Buci. The hotel is calm, nicely appointed and the staff are really friendly. highly recommended
location and hospitality of staff; breakfast included eggs
Our room was too warm, and we did not have thermostat control; Our bathtub did not have a stopper until the final day of our stay; lighting was too dim for reading.
We stayed in hotel De Seine for one night. While we came to enjoy a romantic weekend the stay in the hotel completely ruined our experience. The room was outside the main loby therefore we had no privacy, not to mention that the walls were thin and you could hear the other guests. The room was claustrophobic dirty and outdated. The shower was so disgusting that I decided to skip on using it. I don't understand the good reviews but feel I need to warn you, stay away of this hotel!!!!
Location in very busy area, could be problem in tourist season. Surprisingly quiet. Very pleasant stay.
typical Parisian beamed ceilings and hideous Louis 14th wallpaper. Enter the 21st century s'il vous plait!
The location: close to the underground and tourist sights as well as restaurants and shops. The reception works 24 hours- very usefull.
We lived in room 10 on the ground floor- this was the ONLY room on that floor. It was always noisy as it was located very close to the entrance to the hotel and people passed through it all the day and night. The room was boiling hot (as the central heating passed through the room) but the bathrrom which was located downstairs was freezing. The room was very dusty and not cosy at all. The price for that room is the same as the one located upstairs which is extremely unfair.
I have stayed in many hotels of this level in Paris and the Hotel de Seine is by far the best. I will now stay here whenever I can get a room. The staff are super nice and very helpful. I also saw how they interacted with other guests and it was just as nice and helpful as with me. People in the hotel industry have to be people persons and the staff here are that. My room was small like most in Paris but not too small for me. It was clean and convenient. The bathroom was quite nice though the toilet was a wee bit awkward but overly so. If you love art as I do the location cannot be beat. Most of the galleries in Paris are right out the door. The Louvre and all that is a mere 5-10 minute walk away. If you are a runner, just head out early in the morning down Rue de Seine and you can run along the river or over to the park with great ease.
Nothing. Love the hotel.
friendly staff good breakfast well located near parking
hotel needs renovation bad isolation in rooms overpriced
The staff is amazing. Special thanks goes to Audrey for all her help. The location is perfect: a short walk away from Orsay museum, in the midst of a quarter full of restaurants, cafes, shopping. The room was nicely decorated, had a great atmosphere, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and will definitely come back.
nothing to mention here.
Location and service We strongly recommend the hotel and we will stay there again
Bathroom was a bit tight
+ The staff. Everyone here makes your comfort their priority. + The location. You are in the very center of Paris. Great place. + Clean and Tidy + Close metro stations.
- The walls apparently are a bit thin, and sometimes at night you can hear noises from the other rooms that might keep you awake or alter your sleep.
Location Location Location Room clean Staff very helpful
bathrooms small for me
Location excellent and cute view onto street. Room very comfortable. Excellent 3star value
All the reviews are true! The staff is super friendly and yes American friendly. The location is perfect for all the cafe/entertainment and key Paris sites. Love the hotel decor and charm. This is not a big commercial hotel. The hotel/staff made our trip really special helping us with tickets for a concert and all the daily directions and recommendations for dinner.
Set your expectations to the right level you will be fine...rooms/elevator are small ...remember this is a local boutique hotel in Paris. Just didn't like the room with a beam that slant into the room...you will hit your head! Also, we had a big family next door and got up earlier than we did and lived in the shower and used up all the hot water. We just adjusted and had coffee and breakfast walking around then came back to the hotel for showers as more water heated up. For the price in this location it is all attitude! These few things were not a big deal.
Great staff. Great location. Very quiet at night.
Rooms a bit too warm. Would be nice to have optional blankets.
Friendly and accomidating staff Great location
Wifi would log you off after a 15 min or so Beds were very firm Shower had no curtain, was open to the room
The staff was very facilitating and gracious. The rooms were very comfortable. The location was excellent.
Great location in the Latin Quarter. Nice clean three bedroom room. Well equipped bathroom Great air-con. Some UK TV channels to watch. Comfortable beds Nice ambiance.
Staff a mix of very helpful and couldn't care less Wi-fi not consistent in room
Everything. Old world charm, quiet building, proximity to restaurants, grocery store and subway, and of course to the Seine, reasonable price, friendly staff. We purposely did not want a large hotel.
Leaving. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend the hotel to my family and friends.
The staff and location were super
It was quiet
A small hotel with old world charm in the heart of St Germain des Pres. Good sized room, beautifully decorated, large closet, air conditioned. Minutes from the Mabillon metro. Great neighbourhood with good restaurants and shops and history. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay there again.
Within minutes of our arrival the extremely personable Audrey (manager) made us feel right at home. Central location enabled us to walk to all major attractions & good offering at breakfast fuelled us for our treks.
My favourite location in Paris where there are great places to wine and dine. And have coffee. Close to busses and the Metro. Easy to reach by public transport from the main airports. Not much
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, we felt very welcome during our stay. The bedroom was very cute and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom quite large with a deep bathtub.
The AC was used during the overnight since it was middle of the summer. The AC sound wasn't very smooth, going off and on. It wasn't a very big deal, but perhaps they should upgrade.
