Nice design hotel, very good location, everything very clean.

The room was too small room for the price. Not so friendly staff. No internet connection in the room, only in the lobby.

Decoration was lovely and staff very friendly

Decor was great. Also, friendly and helpful staff. The gentleman working the front desk took our luggage to our room.

Our room had 2 large stains on the light carpet. An easy thing to take care of with the modern cleaners available today. We hate dirty carpet! Otherwise everything was great.

Great location , very friendly staff and speak good English ,if needed . Room was very clean (if a little small ) and bed was extremely comfortable. Great waterfall shower ! I would definitely stay there again !

A beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location. The interior was modern with a calm oasis garden which was great for relaxing in before getting ready for dinner. The hotel staff were very friendly and suggested restaurants and made reservations for us. Highly recommended.

Everything-fab hotel, fab staff!

A bit expensive but you get what you pay for in life!

The location was superb - close to the beach, bars and restaurants without feeling too busy or too central. Rooms were well decorated with nice little touches. Bathroom and shower were a pleasure to use. The garden was a lovely touch - felt like an little oasis in the middle of the city! Reception staff were really helpful and spoke good English.

The water sometimes leaked out of the shower - a fitted door would have been useful - a minor point though

Location was great, easy walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants right there. Hotel had a lovely outdoor area and restaurant terrace. Nice to sit out in the garden and have a coffee or a drink in the evening.

Couldn't get internet properly in room, could only use it out in the main bar / restaurant area. But that could have just been our room situation (room number 5).

Excellent staff and location. If You have a car they'll provide secure parking.

Contemporary style, staff excellent, food fabulous. Value proposition was quality and standard at a fair price not a cheap option. Worth it !

- towels missing on the first day upon arrival, had to ask for them - most of the staff has no or little experience with this type of job (most look very young, either students or on seasonal job) - intrusive and inappropriate questions from receptionist (asking details on our trip, totally intrusive) - main meal served in an exceptionally small portion (never seen before) - Price of the parking could be included in the daily expense - Accomodation does not give a sense of intimacy (ground floor) - A woman presented herself to hand carry our luggages, which was quite shocking - this activity should remain a man's activity Too many shortfalls for a 4-star-rated hotel.

This hotel is a small gem. Beautifully designed and modern, close to the beach, and all the shopping you can handle. The staff was very, very helpful and friendly and full of useful information. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent location, close to the beach, 5 mins walk. Right in the centre of the city. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. Great access to interesting shops such as antique shops and food outlets. Great indoor market right across the street

We had a lovely stay at Hotel de Silhouette. The man who received us when we arrived was amazing with a warm personality, and gave us personal guidance and showed us kindness and hospitality. It felt like a familiy-driven sanctuary in the middle of a noisy street, and when we entered the gate we stepped into an oasis of calm and silence. The food was clean, local and high standard as well. The hotel had a beautiful design-garden who really made us feel like staying at somebodys home. The rest of the staff were silent, smiling like friendly ghosts.

Again the beds in France are a bit to hard for our backs, and again with doors going into the room, making the bathroom even smaller than it already was. It was also impossible to take a shower without getting the floor wet, a bit irritating.

Newly renovated hotel - lovely view of sea and garden, car park all in the centre of the old town. Opposite the market.

Price is probably too high for size of room but for a short stay it was wonderful!

We have stayed a few places now in Biarritz. Everything is "bon" at the Hotel de Silhouette. The location could not be any better. It is located right across the street to the farmers market and just a walk down the hill to the local shops and beach. Moreover, if you travel with a car the on-site parking is worth the price of admission. The staff takes very good care of you and takes interest in what you are there to do, even if nothing at all. The on-site bar is open all hours and has great food and drinks. You can relax in the backyard with lounge chairs and take in all of what Biarritz has to offer. I will return next summer and I will stay here. Its a bargain at double the price.

An amazing oasis in the middle of the bustle of the center of Biarritz. The property has an amazing history too and built in the 1600's but converted into a very modern feeling hotel last year. Awesome courtyard for breakfast and relaxing. Everything you want to do in Biarritz is within minutes.

We love to sleep with our window's open - but if you are facing the street side of the hotel....the late night revelers or very early start up of street activities will awake you and make you sleep with window closed. I would take a room on the courtyard side of the hotel next time. Also - hotel is tough to find and gps doesn't have address registered.

The hotel has a perfect location in Biarritz. The best tapas restaurants and bars are just around the corner. A good distance awat from the more turisty area.

design of rooms merveilleux; staff very friendly & accommodating; location superb; garden remarkable; but overall, the staff made our stay the best.
