We were impressed with our family room. Relatively speaking, it was large and clean, and the decor was quite nice. Our room faced a small but peaceful courtyard. The breakfast offered at the hotel is good but overpriced - unless you're staying on days when stores are closed, go buy your breakfast at one of the few bakeries in the area and find a place to eat it.

The hotel is located very well - in a calm street but close to everything one might want to see during a weekend.

Great location - 10 mins to Musee d'Orsay and 5 mins to Rodin museum. We felt very safe when walking back to the hotel at night. We had a junior suite which was reasonably large for two adults and two children and the room was very clean. Would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Paris. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It was possible to buy drinks from the hotel but we didn't bother as the average price was 4 euros. A few previous reviews mentioned the thin walls between rooms. Whilst this didn't cause us any problems I can imagine that it would be annoying if you had noisy neighbours.

The hotel is nice, peaceful and clean. It is situated on a peaceful, safe area. I liked the interior, furniture and colours in my room. The sight from the window to a beautiful garden was really nice. I think that computer and internet connection would be nice in a hotel, not everybody is having his own connections with him. It would be useful to check out museum information etc.

Very centrally located. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Room was small but very clean and well equipped. Bed was uncomfortable and hotel is older so there is quite a bit of noise from adjoining rooms.

The hotel staff were friendly and was able to assist us with all our questions. The hotel is centrally located and there is easy walking access to the city centre if you wish. The hotel is located in a good part of the city. The rooms were bigger than expected. We felt that the breakfast was expensive. We missed a bar fridge in the room and own tea/coffee making facilities.

The location, cleanliness, ambiance, helpful personnel, very nice little hotel, very Parisian, exactly what you would expect in Paris without looking for a pretentious hotel. I loved it, I would recommend it and I would return in my next trip to Paris.

Good location; different landmarks within walking distance, also, not far from the Metro. A nice little backyard perfect for relaxing after sight seeing all day.

It is very well located. The reception team is kind. The cost benefit relation is not appropriate. The matress and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. The rooms are old.

My husband and I loved the location - quiet, down the street from embassies and different government buildings, an upscale french neighborhood. Lots of police in the area- felt very safe. Close walking distance to Rue Cler and Eiffel Tower. Close walking distance to M. D'Orsay. Helpful staff, very clean room - large size (we had a deluxe double room-surprised by hard large it was). Lovely bathroom. I would highly recommend it. You do walk to different areas for shopping, restaurants - but not far. I great place to 'come home at night' after walking the streets of Paris all day!

Staff was very courteous and friendly. Rooms are okay to sleep in, but to small, if you want to stay in. However, that is not a detriment over all. Paid internet only. 6 euro / hour, 10EU / 2 hours etc. They don't tell you this on the web site. Bathroom for 1 person only.

Close to Rue du Bac (charming street) and other great locations. Building and apartments are old, doors are cracked, wall and baseboard paint is peeling off, the so-called balcony was in terrible condition. The street is quiet, but you can hear everything from other apartments. It was not at all pleasant to stay in the hotel.

Beds were very comfortable. Nice sheets and bedspread. The room was clean and made up well. Good towels, but no wash cloths. Shower nozzle sprayed water everywhere. Hard to get the right temperature. Disappointing plumbing for nicely remodeled bathroom. Could hear the a/c unit out side, but it wasn't bothersome. About a 10-15 minute walk to metro stations. Not too many choices for food nearby. There is a nice boulangerie around the corner.

Location, clean bathroom and bed comfortable. Staff were great. Room small, table rocky, curtain lining all holy and to be able to make tea or coffee in the room would be good.

Every detail was thought of: my luggage was held when I arrived early, the staff was courteous and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was very quiet. It was the perfect place to rest in the middle of such a busy city. Wish the internet was free.

Staff was excellent except for one gentleman who seemed arrogant and was "too busy" to make eye contact with me. His behavior towards women was different than towards men: in my opinion, it was sexist. More help and/or offer of help to get luggage to room. No one offered to help with my luggage and I was in a room not served by the elevator. And upon checking out I asked one of the maids to bring down my heavier bag and she did graciously.. The hotel should maximize the use of the court yard; free snacks and sangria daily or some such. Or at least encourage people to spend relaxing time in that area. Ice has to be asked for - another negative. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was quite adequate but the coffee was terrible. Ice should be more readily available and a few soft beverages should be available later in the evening once the local shop has closed.

the location, we found it very easy to walk around from the hotel and the area itself was comfortable and safe. the staff were very very good at helping with whatever you needed - very pleasant staff room size maybe small for North American standards but I think a good size for Europe - they could do a little better job on interior design and presentation inside the room over all

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
